The age old debate, does Battery Capacity Affect the Performance of Cordless Tools? In this video, we test all the battery sizes in Ingco’s range to see if there is any difference in performance. All the Ingco batteries have the same 20V rating with the only difference being the capacity. To take this test to the next level, we are testing a brushed and brushless drill to see if they will get affected differently. In our test, we have two drills, a brushed 45Nm unit and a cordless 66Nm unit. The batteries we will be testing have the following capacities: 1.5Ah, 2Ah, 4Ah, 5Ah, 6Ah and 7.5Ah. We will be doing loaded and unloaded tests. These tests include a torque test, RPM test and drill driving test. From this, we will be drawing a conclusion whether capacity does have an affect on performance and say which battery we recommend.
