- Was this our best weekend so far this season???
I think we'd all agree it definitely was!
We arrived in Scotland Thursday afternoon and set up camp for the weekend.
Friday was a test day, in which we had a couple of 15 minute sessions to get used to the track in both directions. This was how the weekends racing was going to play out.
Saturday was qualifying and race anti clockwise, and Sunday was qualifying and race clockwise.
So how did it go....
Saturday the car was flying qualified a P3 overall. Into the race, us and the front two cars pulled a nice gap to the rest of the grid, then the front two began to edge away from us. Apart from a safety car race 1 not much else happened so we brought her home in P3 for our first podium of the season!
Sunday we couldn't seem to get into the same groove as Saturday but we still managed another P3 in qualifying. The race began similar to Saturdays race, but things got eventful after the second safety car. This led to a great 4 lap tussle with a car that was faster than us on the straights but we had the edge through the corners. Great result guys, Cortina was going well!
Gutted the Falcon managed to slip through!
Yeah safety cars didn’t help us out in the second race. He was much faster than us on the straights, but we had the edge in the corners. He had to try dive to get past somewhere, bit of a bump, but that’s racing 🤙🏼

Great drivin as always Josh. Just need an extra 50hp to keep up with the Escorts. A friend drives in the Tin Tops Peter Osborne and drives a Vauxhall VXR called Red Devil motorsport 😊

I’m guessing they must of done it before at some point. Actually preferred it the wrong way round. Yeah, left him enough room at that corner but still wasn’t enough
He was off and then back on in front of you in practice too!

We preferred it that way round. Seemed to get in a better flow than the normal way

Great to see you up at Knockhill. But for safety's sake. Can you put your seat belts on when in the van traveling back home or you may not be available for any other racing or videos for that matter.Same laws apply in Scotland as England regards RTA👍😃

Cheers, van has a broken drive shaft at the moment. Jack’s having some drive shafts sorted for the Land Rover and they’re the same as the transit he’s getting them sorted as well 👍🏻

How much do you need for tyres? I come into money over the weekend, bought old kent road, Kings cross and the power station for a song, so got load of Monopoly money , can post. Seriously though, I got thrown in jail, so had to buy a 'get out of jail card of my robbing sister, so fund not great but you can have whats left.
What you wanna do is get into the hotel business. We banged some on Mayfair and park lane which we already owned. Then when people visit, they pay you a big chunk of money, we then use that to fund tyres 👍🏻
