Thank you, we appreciate that!! We had a hard time doing every single step marked distinctly, but it'll hopefully be enough info to help you get the job done.
I just wanted to say thank you for this incredible resource. Your video gave me the confidence to attempt my first bar and riser install! You guys rock. Thank you!
Quick question, what size sheath did you use to wrap the wires going down the middle of risers. 24:07 i took a chance and I purchased from amazon one inch sheath and it worked perfectly.
Just put the mid high bars with a 10 inch rise on my 23.5 CVO . AWESOME. Except for clearing the error code ( which I did eventually) worked out great . I have other Thrashin parts on my bike also . Great products and great vids .
Great informative video. Thanks. I just purchased your 9.5 inch pullback risers and the mid bend bars. Will I need to get new cables? It’s for a 2024 road glide cvo.
I am in the middle of doing this to my 2024 and I did not realize I needed the riser bolts until now, can I please get the specs from you guys, so I can get the bolts from the hardware... I am also using the solid spacers from you guys but i did not know that I needed the bolts...thank you
Depends on your general preference for bar height, but Gaylin is 6" and rocks the high bend which would typically be our answer for anyone over 6'. You could also do the mid bend bars and add a 1" riser spacer which would only be 0.5" lower than using the high bend.
@@DPGgliding No prob! Here is a link to the black 1" spacer. They also come in 1/2". Both in black and chrome options. They come with lengthened riser hardware for 2023 and older touring models. If you have a 2024 you'll need to get different riser hardware which we can help you with. 2lanelife.com/products/1-riser-extensions-black?_pos=1&_sid=4e807f105&_ss=r
What Saddlemen seat are y'all running? Also, the other sharkskin blue road glide that has a Saddlemen seat and the rear tip over bars, did he modify something to make that seat work with those bars because Saddlemen's website still says their seats will not work with those bars in place. Appreciate any help with this and love the videos!!
All 3 of us have 2024 Step-Up seats with rear crash bars. We have made zero modifications and it works great, the seat just sits maybe 1/4" higher than stock. The seat pan has a cutout for the rear crash bar. The seat cover gets slightly creased, but not permanent looking, just a little curve. The exact seat we're rocking can be seen here. We have them in stock and ready to ship at the moment. 2lanelife.com/collections/seats/products/highwaymen-step-up-seat-2024-road-glide-street-glide-2023-2024-cvo-road-glide-street-glide
I got a question.. can I get stainless bars for my 23? And do you know if the if the SDC seat by Sattelman sits you back and lower? Going with or the tuck and roll touring.
We are not sure about Thrashin's plans for stainless bars for the '23 and older TBW bikes but will share updates when we know. Compared to the Tour Step-Up, the SDC will sit you slightly further back and will have a firmer, less forgiving seat for both the rider and passenger. It's all preference, they both have their perks.
Is it normal for the bars to need pressed into the risers with the top clamp? I noticed in the video there was a gap below the bars and you essentially pressed them into the risers when you tightened the top clamp down.
Might've just been because we were holding them loosely in there, allowing the pressure from the top clamp tightening to seat them. The bars sit flush in the risers regardless
The 9.5" pullback risers and mid-bend bars are a bit lower than stock, but without a pullback plate, they are not closer. With the height of the stock bars, they come a lot closer. There are some parts in the works that we will be installing to being the bars closer once they are available
Love that look and feel will be awesome, but you guys are all under 6' tall I;m 6'3" will this still be comfortable you think. I dont see a straight 9.5 riser. I don't need the pull back Maybe if your in Phoenix soon Ill meet up with you and sit on yours Gaylen that looks like it might work the best.Keep up the good work. Waiting on my windshield from you guys, back ordered go figure.
Bar setups are fairly universal (to an extent of course). When we were rocking the original adapter plate setup on the older Road Glides, we had a guy who was 6'8" rocking the same setup as someone who was 5'8". The pullback risers have a fairly subtle pullback and when paired with high bend bars, you have the ability to roll the bars forward and back to dial in your preferred reach. That being said, you could also do 8" straight risers and add a 1" riser spacer for a total height of 9" in the riser department and with high bend (5.5" bars) a total height of 14.5" from the tree, which would be a great bar height for your stature. Feel free to shoot us an email to info@2lanelife.com before pulling the trigger on a bar setup and we can address any questions or hop on a phone call to make sure you get what you need. Thanks for the input and support! We're hoping those windshields come in soon, should be just over a week from today 👍

We did not use grip glue on the left side, just an air compressor and slid it right on. That just comes down to preference, but in our experience with the moto grips, they don't move around whatsoever. We'll also be swapping bars in a month or so as these were pre-production versions, so we figured it'd be easier to do that without grip glue on that side. Thanks for tuning in, Jon 👍
Great out of the box? Unfortunately you seem to believe a motorcycle that sells for >$30,000, desperately needs several thousand dollars in upgrades. This is more a commentary about the bikes, not about your company.
