Should be a living legend but people in general fail to recognize the greatness that is Tom Morello.

He indubitably is a living legend in my book. I guess it's just a matter of education on the matter, understanding the prominence and substantiation of the music, and having an artistic perspective in order to respect the innovation.
I was thinking the same thing, as this is the first time i've seen his hands this closely (even though i've been studying him for years!). It's his "groove awareness" and how he adds in those little pick-ups here and there. Just sick!
Tom is a cool guy that I just gained allot of respect for. I was expecting something different like some ego dork with an agenda but he's not. He's obviously smart down to earth and not trying to be bigger than life. I'm a fan now.

Tom is one of those simple examples where the term "Less is more" applies. 1 amp (50 watts btw), 5 pedals, A modded guitar = Monster sound that shreds across arenas and stadiums. A total Mind***k.

super fast, long guitar solos do not a great guitarist make... i like those that do unique things with the guitar and also play what is fitting for their band. that's why tom morello or the edge are my favorite guitarists-- not your traditional guitar solo wankers, but they make the guitars sing and make noises and sounds you never heard before...
