I bought Nemesor a while back and havent touched finecast since. Theres plenty of suitable bits/bodies that can recreate almost all of the characters in the same exact model pose but in plastic with far better details. I recently finished a kitbashed Trazyn the Infinite since GW didnt bother to give him a new sculpt and have a kitbashed Nemesor still left to paint. With the new Orikan and Imotehk I now only have Anrakyr left. RIP characters to legends
No matter what character I buy for my armies, I always paint them in the colors I paint that army and if it doesn't fit using him/her/it with their real name in my army then I give them a new name. Only character I haven't done this with is Robute Guilliman, as my Space Marine army is a Ultramarine successor chapter, so he can fight with them looking like a regular Ultramarine.
As a commissionpainter...I refuse working with GW Finecast by now. It's horrible. If you don't fix it, clients usually are bothered. If you fix it and attach a price to the extra hours spent, clients are usually bothered. It's not worth it, not one bit. It ruins any of the fun.
In all fairness I wouldn't describe them as a couple, but those toxic ex's that meet on every rebound. Which is highly entertaining from a outsiders perspective.

I worked for GW when Finecast launched and it was Sooooo hard to keep my enthusiasm once they starting coming in. At first I took returns for defective product...but in reality it took several kits to piece together one decent one.
Not normally a fan of shipping, but this one just seems fun, and very sad if it were true. And even without the shipping, these two have such an amazing relationship, and one that's rare for necron, I hope GW brings them back, new models would be amazing, especially Obyrons.
According to the memes and a way you can interpret some texts, it really seems like Khan had a thing for Sanguinius. Which isn't weird, they're clones. So it's just self love. Lol
They still get a lore blurb in the 10th edition codex. It’s just their models that don’t exist anymore. Here’s hoping they keep up with refreshing the necron line. They’re almost done after all.

I would like to state on larger, chunkier models with fewer pointy bits, the finecast models were pretty nice! Sergeant Telion of the Ultramarines, and to this day one of my favorite (unpainted) models looks stunning in finecast! With that being said *glances at the majority of the lineup, i.e. tyranid spikes/claws/teeth, Necron pointy bits, any number of swords, pistols and bayonets on guard, Chaos horns, Ork, well, everything about the Orks except their arms, etc* The Space Marines looked pretty good! Everybody else... eh at best, and the resin is awful to work with ;-; Edit: Also, the idea of just 2 bros who lost their "humanity", riding out the end times forever seems pretty awful and sad, not necessarily terrifying. I think there's even an anime (Girl's Last Tour) that covers this specific topic where I believe it's a couple of girls in a tank (Humvee sometimes?) in a mad max environment, just trying to stay happy and sane until the end. Count bullets and rations while scavenging and moving on through a desolate wasteland. It's sad, lonely, isolating, and at the same time humbling, poetic, and inspiring. To see 2 girls refusing to back down, and just riding what time they have left. I only saw a few clips of it (going to go watch it later now that I remember it) Point is, Necrons can continue to crusade for eternity. Sure, they don't feel anything, but that's not terrifying. What would be terrifying is knowing you only have a finite time, that tomorrow might be the last day, and you can feel all of it, all the time.
i thougth obyron is a necron lord and zandrekh is an overlord, because back in 7th edition u could take them instead of a lord/overlord in the charackter groupthing u could use

Lots of minis in the skaven ratalogue are metal! You mentioned the skryre acolytes but Ikit claw and engineers are also metal!
