As someone who has favored both Tukui and Elvui for many, many years...this GW2 UI has changed the entire game for me. I came here to simply make classic look better and just learning about this UI has made a huge difference for me! Thank you so much!
As much as I enjoyed this video and learned allot I won't be using many of the tricks I quite like the look and feel of how it is originally because I am a nostalgic person I suppose because I was a vanilla player when I was a kid it makes me feel like the old days even when I played retail I kept the classic layout and I bring grafics down and ground clutter down I prefer not as nice grafix I can't explain why it just feels more like home to me.
So the ground clutter is super nice for realism in the game, but I turn my ground clutter as low as possible, as it makes pick-up object SO much easier to find, especially at a distance. If you're questing and need to find stuff on the ground, like the wood logs in the human starting areas, or even when you're 60 and want to find herbs
I remember using these graphical tweaks back in wotlk/cata/mop and causing my computer to lag because I didnt have proper GPU and had no idea how important large gpu cache is.
I just got into classic last week. Found this video today and tried the macros. Almost nothing changes from having all the in-game options turned to max. Did they change things since this video was made? I see no difference where I'm currently at in darkshore. Actually, I see one MINOR difference -- some ground clutter in the distance disappears when I use the "ultra+" macro and comes back when I re-apply the in-game "10" settings....
Nice setup. In using action cam it's good to put a custom crosshair in the game so you can still see which direction is straight. I use custom desktop logo and the quake Q works well with my gothic theme. I use your contrast setting, been messing with that for ages thinking I needed to lower gamma but nope, yours is good! Also actioncam not required. /console actioncam on, or off. Or get a script to press one button to turn it on or off. It's built in now
I might actually do all this to the maximum. Start a new character and really take my time and do things like all professions along side it while levelling. Really go in depth with the experience. May have to go for a Night Elf Druid.

Damn, that Witcher Soundtrack in the back is extremely distracting. It doesn't fit with Wow. I constantly expect the sound of the inventory or the bar sounds of the witcher going off. -.-
I have a 6 year old computer, when I am next to smoke and stuff in classic wow my pc starts making a lot of fan noise. Do you know of any console commands to maybe get rid of the demand smoke puts on the PC?
Turn down particles, either that or get headphones, real reccomendation tho is to buy a new PC, $600 is enough to get a gaming PC that will play literally anything.

I'd love to know how well Cyperpunk 2077 (regardless of whether it's a good game or not) or Red Dead Redemption 2 or pretty much any AAA title from the last year or two runs on a $600 PC. Maybe you meant $600 gpu? Either that or you're one of those folks who just doesn't see the need for 60fps+ w/ good settings. For classic WoW, though, you're absolutely right. $600 will enable you to play on ultra at 1440 or possibly 4k (I play at 4k/ultra and get ~150fps when I turn vsync off and I'm on a PC I built in 2016 w/ a 1080 Ti).

how did you get msaa color 8x/depth 16x? most people have a max of color 8x/depth 8x only.
