It remains difficult how this music can disappear from the repertoire of pianists! A page that deserved to be rediscovered by an interpreter of great value! A wonderful post!
Agree. It's a beautiful gem. Not a generic piece to just bite, run away to the next and forget. There's quite a generous amount of subtlety and nuance, no commonplaces but original writing and captivating yet not trivial melody. Could it be it has been written by a better known composer who - for whatever reason - chose a pseudonym to hide his name behind? Could it be this gentleman wanted to impress a woman and paid someone to write this piece on his behalf (paying also the fact the real identity of composer should have been hidden)? Otherwise I struggle to believe he has left no trace of his life ....
I've commented a few times, but I think they were removed because of the links. That aside, I can't seem to find any information, even on the websites that Gamma uses. I've only found 2 separate documents with someone of the same name of Henri Trester. I'd really like to know more about this person and other pieces by them. I'd also like the score and cannot find it at all on any of those 3 websites.
@@MarkyD.Ingram yes, if you mention links YT automatically cancel them. It happened to me too. You can circumvent using "at", "dot", "slash" etc in letters and not symbols (likewise cartoons... Lol)
Lovely perfomance of a delightful little piece. And that first theme reminds me of the middle section from Schubert's Op 90 no 4...
Exactly what I thought!
Same here!

I have discovered many pieces thanks to your uploads.
Wonderful Music once again 🎹🎹👏👏🎶
The leit motiff (sp) here is enough to call this piece a gem.
Listened to you again: very romantic and has something to it that stays in a music mind, and deep in a music heart.
FANTÁSTICO TRABAJO EN LA EJECUCIÓN Y EL QUE NOS HAGAS SABER DE ESTAS OBRAS PRÁCTICAMENTE DESCONOCIDAS.
Beautiful and poetic work !bravo
Just saw it and listened. Reminds of other compositions but what the heck! it remains very beautiful. Thank you.

both comments seem very plausible to me. the truth requires more digging in literature and contemporary books...

Such beauty …. ✨✨✨✨💕💕💕🙏😭😭😭
Bellissimo... Molto commovente!!!!! UN po' Schubert!!!!
Totally sounds like Schubert. I was thinking the same thing.
Awesome! It's rainy outside just in time, suitable to listen with a tea and raindrops slightly knocking on a window
It is as subtle as Chopin. Beautiful sounds!
Замечательно!!!!
So beautiful! Thank you so much!
Bravissimo!
Love it!
Bravoissimo

Reminds me of Mendelssohns prelude op 35 no 5
Your piano has such a beautiful tone …. and all the harmonies are spot on …. please tell me what brand it is …. THANK YOU
이거 뭔가 중독성 오져서 계속듣게되는데 나만그런가
Sounds Like Czerny, Field And Bertini
I've watched the video on how you find scores, but how did you go about finding this one in particular with it being so obscure in the first place.
The only reason why I think it's the same person is because there's virtually NO ONE by the name Trester and with the first name Henri.
