What an incredible teacher. Your positivity is infectous, and your personality just made me feel excited about learning something I was dreading before. Probably my favourite guitar tutorial on youtube. Thankyou mate
you're so happy and bubbly it makes me feel so much comfortable about watching videos on youtube. normally im a person to do things on my own but this really helped. thank you
I've been avoiding playing most bar chords for all the years I've been "playing" guitar, and this is the first time I feel like I could probably tackle them. Thank you!
You're very welcome Kathleen. I'm so glad to hear that. It really opens up a whole another part of playing guitar. And I know it might not seem like it now but over time they will become second nature.
I struggled and even paused from playing guitar because I got a little discouraged about not being able to play the barre chord. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Thomas, for showing me how to start with a simpler version and working my way to the barre version!! I'm now having a lot of fun playing great songs that I love while learning how to work closer to playing the full barre chord!! :D :)
Thumb placements a game changer , as a good pinch is what's needed to get to the next levels. Got my Bm , Barr, F Barr, Now on to this.. helps with the f barring of the e b strings as well.. thanks..
found this chord in the 2nd bridge of Beatles "All be back." What a pleasure to be taught how to play it--just amazing; you are a great, humane teacher--just a great gift, thank you.
Omg thank you so much! Your enthusiasm and encouragement actually helps me! F#m is a little challenging but im now successfully done it ! Thank you !! Just subscribed !!!
thank you so much for this tutorial, it's been so helpful. I'm really struggling to get my third finger positioned right while doing the partial barre chord with my first finger, does anyone have any advice on how to improve my mobility please?
Love the video, especially the pop up chord chart. Makes it easy to see what you are saying. Sadly, I just cant seem to get my 3rd finger to cooperate. It doesn't want to stretch down to the 4th fret =/
Tomas this a good tutorial for learning the F# minor. Will you please do a tutorial on learning the A chord using your index and middle finger including any finger strengthening exercises. Thanks
Hi thanks yes it a chord which needs practice over and over again, but you gave helpful hints to excise in a good way. Thanks a lot. In the moment in sounds like F m chord. Need to bring it into my song without disturbance Useful video tutorial on one chord

Thanks for this video. I think I am finally nailing the F#m chord. Rolling back the index finger, using its side, really helps.
