"Janet" has got to be the safest airline ever. You never hear anything about incidents with them.
Because you wouldn't hear about them.
There are two that I remembered, published in the LVRJ. One was a Beechcraft and the other was a helo, both operated by EG&G Special Projects.
It's only a twenty minutes long one way flight and the air crews are most likely active or former Air Force personnel to ensure security.
I’ve never even heard of them
Jeff Favignano stormed Area 51 before it was cool
Indeed he did
Others stormed Area 51, before Jeff.
They say, late at night, when it's super quiet, you can hear their screams, from under the ground........
Bob Bobby lol
lol
....and that was the last we ever heard of Jeff. He's been shipped off to a black site in Morocco or sent to Guantanamo Bay.
jeff stormed area 51 before it was a meme
Great Video Bro, I enjoyed every minute of it and the fact that the ground markings at the Ramp are in the shape of a SR 71 just killed me right there....ded.
Real OGs already did this in FSX :^)
Revo who the fuck does :^)? Are you 12-13? Wtf ahah
@@Myst3ry420 We can tell you're not a real OG :^)
33:49 There is the alien communication device!
Jeff predicted the future
Jeff is a professional brainwasher that fooled you or your just another payed off government puppet like Jeff
This video has such new meaning now haha
2018: Yeah, another Jeff Favigano flight sim video. 2019 youtube before the raid: Let's recommend this multiple times.
Came here to study Area 51 in preparation for the raid. Great information.
watching this guy play this game is so soothing lol.
I was right behind the pilots of a Phenom 100 flying into LAS. I happened to zoom into the G1000 as we were passing near Area 51. It displayed the airport code, and instead of showing the runway layout like it does with ordinary airports, it simply had a black circle with an 'R' for restricted. One of my viewers happened to catch it. I totally missed it. Great video, BTW!
RyanBomar what’s the video name?
Fly SLC to LAS on a clear day, and you see how LONG the old runway is! I flew at dusk and they had the runway lights on.
when its 3am and ur lying on ur bed and youtube looks like a really nice app all of a sudden
One time I was on a flight out of KLAS and we had a lot of planes in line to take off. I look out my window and a Janet 737 just rolls by everyone and takes off. I’m jealous.
I live in Las Vegas and I see this plane every day
Same.
I see them fly direct.
There was a proper official fsx mission where you fly Janet airlines to area 51, it was super fun lol
Yes There was a UFO right?
@@Rundumsfliegen Yep, even had some wierd anomaly when you parked the plane
@@JayfromCalifornia oh right, i totally forgot about that. Defenenitly Played FSX Missions trough a Long Time ago.🤣
Jeff: *Flies over area 51*
Cia: *Shoots airplane down*
Cia: *Arrest's Jeff on livestream*
Can i hire you on the 20th september 2019?
No need, we alreday have some flying furies
I'm a Vegas local and I live half a mile away from the airport. I see these things take off on my way to work everyday at 3 and they normally go Southwest and Bank hard right and fly over my work and they are very punctual. The scenery is very realistic and I'm surprised at how well and detailed all the mountains that they captured. It actually looks like I'm watching a real life video, they did their homework on everything.
Actually satellite data which has been processed a great deal, publically available and then mapped on to the 3D topo. The 3D topo NASA's shuttle program radar contributed a great deal too, which included amazingly acquired world-wide underwater topo also, averaging out ocean surface waves, etc., and reading the gravitational effect of the bottom's proximity to the surface! Jeff mentions in this particular video that the imagery data in the same Bing Maps uses. A little surprised at that since I've long regarded Google Earth imagery over Bing.
I've always wondered what the transmission to ATC would sound like with JANET Airlines?
Fsx memories.
Yep, CSX missions had some weird ass stuff
FSX has a mission flying Janet 737 to Area 51 and when you land their you see all types of weird crap and dope alien spacecraft
Yeah and an alien spaceship nearly collides with you
Hey Jeff, FUN FACT: JANET Airlines used to be operated by EG&G, but are now in fact operated by the same possible military subcontractor of the infamous Area 51 " Camo Dudes " ( the private security guard seen in distinct white pickups) which is named AECOM .
Really cool!! I just got to LA and I stopped in Vegas for the night. When I woke up I woke up to the arrivals at KLAS coming right over my hotel and when I went to go get some pictures the ole Janet planes flew over and it was incredible!
Now that Jeff flew us to Area 51, he will now have to kill us all LOL XD
I don't live in Vegas but every time I visit I see these airplanes have been for over 30 years now!
Just flew a certified 737 sim and its amazing how accurate x-plane 11 is
The airport you fly over is called Alamo it’s a small town where the bus picks up the workers, go to the Area 51 rider channel and the guy talks about it
I fear no man
But that thing... *analog cockpit*
It scares me
It has space shuttle like controls! 😂
Buttery smooth landing, I will give you a perfect 10/10 landing score.
I bought xplane yesterday, and I am a massive Janet Airlines enthusiast. I don't like to hold secrets, so when I do my first xplane flight on Janet, I'm going to file for KXTA, and I will ALWAYS keep my transponder on.
This is suddenly relevant again
Jeff should recreate this video in the new 736 for MSFS
agreed
Can you be our transport to Area 51??
Javier Pavlik Who’s our?

11:06 ...BODY ONCE TOLD ME THE WORLD IS GONNA ROLL ME
EG&G was bought out or merged years ago with a company called URS and their website actually has a careers section with all the Area 51 jobs.
URS is now owned by AECOM
Ah gotcha
EG&G was three companies. EG&G Energy Measurements, EG&G "something" (I can't remember), and EG&G Special Projects, that operated JANET, and all the other hush-hush-Lazar-projects.
These are my favourite chilling out videos jeff thanks so much
When I stayed at Mandalay Bay for CES2018 my hotel room looked out right at the Janet terminal. Was honestly so much fun spending my down time watching the planes some in and out.
*This is how me and the bois storm area 51 by hijacking their plane*
Also loving the shapes of the caution zones on the ramp (where you parked was shaped like an SR-71.) :)
Boyyyy. I flew the 737 Classic so much when it was one of the default aircraft in FS2002. It's been so long, and so much time in NGs and 767s. But there's something about the classic that just feels like home, even though the one I knew was a cheesy default thing with a 2D cockpit.
Greased that landing Jeff! Another great video, man.
14:59 Edwards Air Force Base is in California.. northeast of LA.
Jeff always have videos ready for us 🤧 beautiful
Beautiful scenery..crisp. Looks so real non simmers could not tell the real thing from XP.
Actually they do...
Smooth landing. Another great video. Thanks...
Your videos are amazing! We would all love to see some additional night flights!!!! I've only found the 1 so far
Thank you for highlighting these guys. I find their history to be very fascinating.
Amazing video jeff, keep it up!
Jeff u ever thought about flying a plane irl?
He was a pilot you would know if u was a real fan
Great video Jeff as usual, my favorite series of yours, have a good one
Fabulous video Jeff! Really enjoyed watching! :D
What a greaser!! Barely even a puff of smoke. Well done Jeff. Enjoyed the flight, but sadly no in flight snacks.
Aliens dont need food!
So Jeff was the first one to go to area 51
I haven't watched 1 of These videos of an Experienced person flying a Simulator for quite a while - The Pilot Did An Excellent Job in My Opinion !
This was Fun To Watch !
Thank You Sir !
Your 1 Hell of a Pilot
I assume your first language isn’t English, but holy shit that was hard to reas without having a brain aneurysm. You don’t Need To Capitalize Words Like They’re All Proper Nouns

Jeff you are a GREAT You Tuber!! Awesome Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!
I was at Vegas last week and I tracked the Janet 737 with another aircraft right behind it. They were both cruising at 13,900.
The Janet one is going to area
51 while the other aircraft goes to tonopah
Hey jeff. been a fan of all ur videos for a long time. I was diagnosed with some time of spinal headache as well as iron deficiency and Ur videos make my day. It makes the hell a little less hell and a little more fun. Ur mottovlogs have made me want to take up flying not sure if i can cause of my medical history but its worth a try. I just wanted you to know how much Ur videos help me through transfusions spinal taps hospital stay and all. Thank you jeff.
Get well. :)
Man this mission gives me nostalgia from the FSX days
thank you for all hard work making all those videos kick ass work
Thank you Aron
As soon as Jeff said "Signature" I thought of Steevo. Never knew they had operations in LV too
Eg&g was bought out by URS Corp., but ol boy did his homework. Love it.
Love you're videos keep up great work.
Wow. That was relaxing. Great video
Love how professional this fight was I also saw a few aliens dancing in the passenger seats economy class for the peasant aliens and business for the rich ones 😂
Love watching you play X-Plane
Very cool Jeff. Would you please do it again, only this time, in one of the classic TJ 737-200's (T-43A's) that had the "conversion", and on final, showing exactly how you initialize the anti-grav generators, transition to hover, stop over the threshold, and then float into the hangar? It's okay, we all know that the old lengthy runways are just for show. ;) ;)
Whats up Jeff, Your my Favorite RUclipsr your amazing keep it up!
I still remember when I did the secret shuttle Area 51 flight in FSX 😂
AlrightyDave Haha 😂 Can't forget that one
We all felt special when we flew that mission😂
I love it thank you for uploading another awsome video
Interesting. This scenery pack has the taxi loop at the base of 32L, but it does not have the large hangar there. The recent default scenery in X Plane 11.5 show this. It may not have existed back in 2017.
I literally almost got the ixeg 737 but then realized there was a Janet livery for the zibo 737-700 and so all I had to do was do into the config menu and take off winglets
Great video I loved the flight thank you!!!
Did you watch it take off!? The run up is so short and it takes off almost straight up lol. I used to live in Vegas kind of spooky seeing that thing just sitting right off the strip
Liked and subbed. Great flight 10|10 landing. Aka MR.BUTTER
Great video..you mentioned Nellis AFB to the right but when viewing the Las Vegas Speedway you accidently said Edwards AFB instead of Nellis AFB. Of course EDWARDS AFB is in California. But in facts Area 51 facility is a detachment group of EDWARDS AFB. Thanks for the fun.
shimmy 1973 Schermerhorn yea i caught that to lol but it happens
Jeff, that runway is closed, hence the no entry signs. lol
Excellent video. Very nice landing!
Psychiatrist: hand flying 737 does not exist, it can't harm you.
Hand flying 737: *hullo*
Beautiful landing man! Great vid!
Damn Jeff, you just buttered that landing..............
Hey Jeff, keep up the great work man
Hey Jeff, awesome video! Could you possibly do a ‘Go-Around’ Procedure sometime. Thanks.
Take notes bois
Can you please do some flights in the Caribbean
That landing was very smooth
Flew that route many times on FSX
Keep up the good work jeff
You say challenging, but how, normally it is the small and not flat runways that are a challenge, like the small airport in Nepal closest to Mt. Everest, that was a little challenging, but area 51, is completely open, making it very easy to land at a calm rate and it is a longer runway so it is much more comfortable to land there because there is a lot of breathing room for in case I need to perform an emergency landing,
Great vid man as always. Btw that airport you passed over was Creech AFB. Smaller airport in Indian Springs. See these planes flying over me all the time love to see it in the sim
Excellent flight man - but the whole time, I have been distracted by the fact that you sound almost exactly like Dan Harmon talking about aviation and it's blowing my mind.
The right runway is the one used. The left runway is no longer in service.
Not Edwards buddy, Nellis AFB. I was stationed there for four years and flew on Pavehawks. Loved living there, and it was the best job I ever had! Good video per the usual.
Yeah I meant to say that, just a mess up on my part
Jeff Favignano yea no worries man. Sorry I don’t want to be one of those annoying nitpicking viewers. This video definitely made me miss Vegas, flying, and flying up around “the box” or groom lake.
@@pedrogunner9750 go in the box, no flying the next day, and one hell of a talking too!
hii jeff love the videos love the flight sim videos!
I saw a documentary a long time ago about Janet Air and Area 51. Very interesting to now have an idea of the length of the flight that employees take every day.
It's about 15 min in the air. They fly near Creech about 5 min after takeoff.
Jeff, I would assume they use the right runway as the left has X's imprinted on it on Google Maps, but then again, what would we know about Area 51... great video!
Since your flying is so good, they might take you in and keep you there for the rest of your life
Absolute BUTTER landing.
Jeff is storming Area 51.
