Is it anything like the day you posted a video about how you fear being judged in the gym and how that effects you ? And then followed it up with a short where you mock other people’s climbing by doing childish imitations of climbers that “grunt too much”. Was it like that day ?
The video is so insightful and the density of useful information per second is extremely high. Now it's gonna take me a good amount of sessions to try all of it on the wall. Thanks a lot ❤😊
Yup, just watched Anna's and then this one straight after! Watching both vids consecutively was really useful - feel like they complement each other. A good day for YT slab!
Last Boulder gave me hell because of that exact move she was talking about. My micro beta was opening my hips and shifting them to the right to get weight onto the foot before going out right. Otherwise my foot glanced off without the weight. Awesome video. I love slab!
Brilliant advice. Slab used to be my nemesis, and I'm starting to get more confident on it. But it hadn't struck me how important hip flexibility is in getting closer to the wall until now - I thought it was just about balance.
Great video again! 🙌 I really love slab but have been getting very stressed out about high foot swaps on dubious holds, and trusting being able to tip/lean to catch holds that are slightly beyond my (limited) reach - plus I also injured my left knee recently so have chickened out and temporarily switched my emphasis to overhangs which I'm much weaker on. Feel like I've got some great insights from your video (and Anna H's) to apply in my next slab session, now my knee's feeling a bit better. On another note, the Rose Bloc gyms are so aesthetic! 😍 Something about the colours against the black walls is really appealing visually.
Would be awesome if when you're explaining what you just did like for boulder one you'd put the segment of you doing what you're explaining with only the voiceover.
Ahaha great minds think alike!! I guess today was Slab Sunday 😂❤ awesome video :)
Haha we should make it a tradition 😂
every day is slab day ❤

Nice to see that the setters are sensitive to minimal but optimized placement of down climb holds. With my bad knees this is essential!
I noticed this too, as another dodgy-kneed climber 😅.
What are the chances you and Anna upload the same video in the same day, wild.
OMG that is actually so funny 😂

Quality vid as always. Recently discovered you guys and already 20+ vids in!

Amazing video!!!! Such details on all the moves, love it!!

Absolutely! And while hip flexibility is probably most useful on slabs, it can be applied to all types of boulders!
Thank you for the great video! Off the wall detail training video would also be super cool .💪
Great video again! 🙌

Thanks! And glad to hear that your knee is feeling a bit better!
Haha yes rose bloc knows how to do it 😎🔥
Step 1: Try not to think about cheese grating if you fall.
😅😅
Cool thumbnail!
