Ladder Stitch | Crochet Stitch | Stitch Explorer Saturday | Beginner Crochet Tutorial

Welcome Stitch Explorers!
This weeks tutorial is how to create the Ladder Stitch.
The stitch creates a nice openwork pattern that looks like rungs of a ladder, hence the name lol. This stitch is sooooo much easier to learn than last weeks Solomon's Knot, but both create a nice look. This one is easily adjustable too. I imagine creating modifications to it would be super easy to create new designs.

How awesome is this.... I just saw a sweater with this stitch section in 2 areas, and I kept looking at it trying to figure out how it was done. Then tonight I open YT...and there it is in my recommended vids!!! Sweet!!! (SO of course I sub'd to your channel). Thanks for showing us/me how to do this!! It looked so amazing on the sweater! What sz crochet hook n weight if yarn

Hey there! You can use any yarn and hooks as you’d like. I believe for this tutorial I used a 4 mm hook and a 100% cotton yarn called. I love this cotton and it’s sold at hobby lobby.

Would I be able to use t-shirt yarn to make this? I think it would work really well as a pet hammock/ladder!
