Chapter: Epilogue
You can only do this in the epilogue (last chapter). It doesn't work in chapter 4 when you play the Crash Bandicoot game for the first time. The reason being that you have an extra life in the Epilogue which gives you 500 bonus points.
You must beat the highscore of 3500 points. With a few tries this is quite doable. You need to pick up most of the apples, don't die, and complete the game as quickly as you can. If you are short a few points it's because you didn't pick up enough apples or missed the bonus life from one of the boxes. The bonus life is found in a wooden box relatively early in the level. If you don't pick up the bonus life you cannot beat the highscore.

I beat it without slow motion but needed 5hours and with the score of 3530
TIP : Turn on Slo-Mo in the 'bonus' menu... makes it shit loads easier.... you're welcome...!!! :)

For the ones that arent able tp do it, when you jump just hold the X button until he lands he flys longer and do it in slow motion if you want.

@@dontknowbud Someone hasn't played Crash Bandicoot before.
It may seem very hard at the beginning, but if you put on slow motion(complete the game then go to extra->bonus->gameplay modifiers) and whenever a jump comes hold square so he'll jump further. Don't fret about picking all the fruits, I got only 36 and finished with 31 seconds and still got the high score

Thank goodness that Activision’s own Vicarious Visions (and now Toys for Bob) allows the player to use the analog stick to move Crash in the new games.
If I could control Crash with the analog instead of the shitty ass d-pad I probably wouldn't have so much trouble with this trophy. My fingers hurt

They've already proven that they can port PS1 games to PS4, they could literally just remaster all 4 original Naughty Dog games. And it'd be perfect because those 4 were the best. Of course the Post-Naughty Dog section of Crash's life cycle had some amazing games that live up to the name. Take Twinsanity for example. It had all the original art styles, Crash wasn't a blubbering buffoon. Amazing platforming. Great soundtrack. Was an awesome game.

Yeah Twinsanity and Tag Team Racing on the PlayStation 2 were great in my opinion, as for the mutant games i'm not saying they were terrible games but it just didn't feel like crash to me, the tattoos were OK i guess but his goofy voice was annoying and the change in character designs also were also bad.
if they do create a new crash game for the PlayStation 4 i hope they use an updated version of his twinsanity look and maybe include some extra costumes that are earnable in game.

I got the trophy on my 40th attempt, After I beaten it I was like “FINALLY, I could go ahead and actually kill people for other trophies” when I laid down I went on and try to get other trophies obviously. The credits actually don't include Activision at all, where as last year for naughty dogs 30th anniversary, just for having crash in the scrapbook they credited Activision for the ownership.

This will make you automatically get 3650 :D
PlatinumNova Just got the trophy with 36 apples and 28 seconds - 3566. Key for me was holding down the x button for jumps
the boulder seems to legitimately just move faster for me than you. no matter how quickly i jump, i physically can’t avoid the fences and it’s always right there, i legit did the exact same as you other than dying to the boulder being unavoidable once and got 2900 odd. it’s fuckin ridiculous. i lov crash for the nostalgia but jesus, the game is unplayable.

This isn't the normal play through, you have a lot more crates than normal

I made it until there is a hugh gap that you cant jump over, first try. My guess was it was scripted, but I wish it was possible to beat first try instead.
