I just returned from INC to LAX two weeks ago on Asiana Airlines. I ordered the beef tenderloin for main course. It turned out the dinner was a six course tasting menu with Champagne, Bordeaux Red wine and Remi Martin XO for cheese plate and dessert. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked to medium rare. Other than Emeritus Airlines first class with unlimited caviar this is the best business class meal I have! The Korean style dinner according to my wife is excellent too!
BTW, the bathroom is three times the regular size with a social area in the front for 4-6 people that I really enjoyed very much. Services also fantastic and flight attendants are vey polite and young! 😊

I have a question. I've just booked my from flight from LHR to Seoul. Is there nothing to close you off from the aisle or the person next to you? Like a screen?! I'm really surprised by this. I thought there would be which is why I booked with them and not Korean Air but now I'm wondering if I made a mistake!

Flew this route the opposite direction in business class last month with this airline very nice. Also very nice out of SFO too flew from SFO in April when I couldn’t get award space out of LAX. You get access to the United Polaris lounges at both LAX and SFO. Can’t beat it

Great landing by the Asiana pilots of this flight. I believe Asiana Airlines should stay as an independent company. The onboard service seems quite good. There's a willingness by the flight attendants to offer a better level of service. This airline has an immense potential to be better. Possibly join the Oneworld Airlines alliance. Where other airlines of this alliance can offer assistance to Asiana Airlines in this regard.

I flew Asiana last November 2022 Los Angeles to Manila layover at Inc Seoul. Food was great and nice flight attendants responding to passengers needs. Maybe they should inspect and clean the restrooms often just like what JAL flight attendants were doing to keep it clean and sanitize.

I flew Asiana back in October and enjoyed it! My only complaint is their IFE selection is really limited. I prefer to read during my flights but for those who look forward to movies or television shows on a long haul flight, you might be disappointed.

Really enjoyed your detail recording and explanation of everything.
Still prefer vlogger's texts instead of voiceovers, gives the viewers more enjoyment to concentrate on the video.
Seems to me Asiana has better catering than Korean Air, yet KAL rating was upgraded to five-star airline by Skytrax in 2021.
Asiana def deserves that consideration too.

You should have booked a flight that used the A380, they use it on that exact route. (Or at least they do now, idk about when this was recorded). It's an icon, Asiana just brought them back after being in storage from the pandemic. It's gonna get retired most likely within the next 2-3 years when it merges with Korean Air. Not to mention Korean Air plans to retire their A380s by 2027.

Airliners have this amazing thing called a baggage hold so I am beyond believe as to why people have to take so much stuff on to the actual aicraft instead of having it put in the baggage hold. Imagine the aircraft hitting some very heavy turbulance and all that stuff flying out of the overhead bins. It would cost the airline an absolute fortune in compensation.

This comes as a shock !
KAL bought out Asiana, that's really a shame.
I read Asiana was experiencing financial difficulties several years ago, that's prob the reason.
Anyway once merged means less competition for KAL which is not good for passengers.
