This whole trip reminds me of when my parents took me out of school in 5th grade for 4 weeks and we went to Australia for 3 weeks and New Zealand for 1 week. Even though Im 42 now, I remember that trip like it was yesterday. Your girls are so blessed to not only travel Business Class, but to experience so much in Japan and the Philippines, I guarantee the 3 older girls will remember this trip forever
These children are going to think lounges are the norm. So fortunate your parents work hard to provide for you. Get those girls Frequent flyer accounts.

One of these days, maybe you could do a video with tips on planning trips. I.E. how to take advantage of airline mileages (to help score business class tickets), how to find best food places to try, etc!

I believe use metal spoon to scoop rice to eat (spoon on right hand (if right handed)) is the etiquette. Even though whatever works but yea if in Korea may as well know.

It's weird that Benji doesn't know what Omurice is. And that he was so unfamiliar with Hamburg Steak.
I heard Koreans use metal bowls to prevent the “rudeness” of bringing a bowl up to your mouth. With a metal
bowl, it would be too hot to pick up, thus reminding you not to pick up the bowl.
In Japan - yes, slurp away! Compliments to the chef and also the slurping action brings more air to your bite, adding to the flavor of whatever you’re slurping.

Filipino dish with bamboo shoots, jute leaves and coconut milk with seafood traditionally crab but you can use shrimp is called Tambo. I miss it so much cuz we use freshly shaved bamboo shoots and they are soft and crunchy at times. Depends on how long you cook them.

Benji , the sauce you put on the leaf is ssamjang, its a soybean paste with gochujang, you can buy it in korean stores near you or japanese mart. the triangle leaf is called perilla leaf, good tp wrap meat

Benji that green leaf is parilla leaf. It’s in the mint family I believe. You use it like a lettuce wrap.

Benji , that sauce you asked at the plane is called "SamJang". Samjang mix of KochuJang(Korean pepper sauce)+Misoo . Try it at home , or can buy at Korean mart (for detail information is 쌈장).

I'm Korean and wondered about chopsticks growing up. We use flat metal ones at home. I guess Japanese ones are wooden and pointy. Chinese are wooden and more blunt tipped. I don't know the reason, but I guess each country has its preferred style.
I would love to book business class and to just stay in the lounge and eat all day long. 😅🤤🍣🍱🍜🍗🍟 The food on the plane looked delicious too!

Business class is better than first class. Fyi metal chopsticks are used for cold dishes i learned the hard way almost burned my face off! Tbey get so hot!! Why do They use metal ones??

Yup! Metal utensils are a Korean thing! Historically, Korea made chopsticks out of gold, silver, or brass and were used by affluent families. Silver was the main choice for metal as a way of protecting themselves from being poisoned. If there were remnants of poison in the food, the silver chopsticks would change color.
