This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that's the way I like it!

Still amazed firstly how much research you do before planning your itinerary, secondly filming, editing and narrating the reviews and thirdly to be able to continue to publish two videos per week….🤯 Still blows my mind especially at such high quality 💎 BTW…has Lufthansa contacted you yet 😅 Thank you for another great review 🙏🏼
LH hasn't said a peep! haha... I am quite confident the video went around the company as well. On the 4th day or so 1100 people all watched it from the same link associated with FB, would make a lot of sense if that was the video spreading through the company.
But yeah, I don't expect anything. If they were interested in replying, they would have done it right away- and it's hard to imaging not a single person in upper management there hasn't seen it yet.
Agree!
You must be one of the best aviation reviewers out there. You deserve millions of subscribers ❤
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
Already booked tickets from PVG to BKK via ICN just to experience ASIANA business. Hope it won’t disappoint me😮😮. Have never flown it before.
Enjoy your trip 🗺️
Glad that you covered Asiana before they disappear into history.
That baggage wait thing(waiting at the end of the counter) happens a lot in Korea, while I am not sure what is the exact standard(by route, by airline, or by checkin staff) for such request.
I do miss those old days that I occasionally went to HCMC for business trip, but watching many Korean trying their best to have so much fun with Vietnamese girls was not something I want to witness.
Thanks for watching 🩴
Mustard Fever Dream would be an excellent band name.
Or name of a hot sauce.
I think it would be great to have a video that shows how you actually go about filming flights for reviews
I mean... I walk around with a phone in my hand... Wouldn't be a long video 😅
Thank you Kevin. Agreed with you for the flight map.
Thanks for watching 🩴
That's some pretty good service. It's sad that an airline with such modern fleet would disappear in the future...
Thanks for watching 🩴
1:48 Taoyuan airport in Taiwan also makes you wait for your checked in baggage to pass through the x-ray machine before proceeding to immigration :>
Oh, I suppose I never checked in baggage there haha
Love the level of must watch-ness scale in the description
I was kidding myself at first when I thought it could just be a simple single flip flop or not haha. Thanks for watching 🩴
Thanks for your video review - was great viewing. I just flew with Asiana for the first time (and published a review to YT a few days before yours) and really found the experience to be excellent.
The seating was extremely comfortable, and although sort of drab, after 4 long haul flights I ended up enjoying the colour palette more than I thought I would 🫣 it was sort of warm?
I’m flying on ANA next, and the business class cabin looks so clinical, I think I’ll miss Asiana’s!
Once again, excellent video as always.
The seats did look much better on the A350 though. Enjoy ANA, one of my favorites!
I cannot wait for the 10 minute Virgin Cruise review, bookmarking May 25th on my calendar! I have booked several hotels from your recommendations, Apurva Kempinski has been my favourite so far. We have the same requirements for hotels and I just love your reviews.
Appreciate that!
The UI of that IFE looks as old fashioned as the seat colourway, but man is it responsive! Definitely preferable to a smart design that chugs along and a useful reminder about judging books by their covers.
Thanks for watching 🩴
I love that there's a Well-Wishers Gallery ... for that alone I'd love to go to Ho Chi Minh -- many thanks for a wonderful recap!
It's nothing special inside haha. Thanks for watching 🩴
I agree. Cushion length is vital to long duration comfort. I'm only 5' 9" and even I notice and don't like short cushion lengths. I notice this between Qantas and Singapore BC immediately for example.
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Great review as always! :D
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
Wonderful video, Kevin! Do you have plans in the future to try out the new Ritz Carlton luxury yacht experiences?
That's a big no with the prices they charge. 10 years of views wouldn't make back the cost lol.
Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks for watching 🩴
Great viewing again Kevin,,,,,peace and happiness on your travels 😊😊😊😊
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
As local, I can tell the traffic does not have steady flow at all time, traffic jams happen regularly at 8-9am (before work), 5-7pm (after work). The hotspot is District 1, 3, Gò Vấp; Cộng Hoà, Trường Chinh street
‘Steady flow’ just means, not empty. Of course there are rush hours, but even outside of rush hours the streets remain fairly busy. Thanks for watching 🩴
Yeah, the English expression 'steady flow' just means that traffic never stops, like what @tfft said.
I agree. I like OZ's BC, staff, meals, and seats in the 777. There is also something about the livery that I like too, it changes my perception of the older 777s and makes them more appealing than they already are. KE does it for me too in the livery department as well Cheers.
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Nice video. You sound relaxed. Last couple videos were a little intense, but thats what honesty and transparency 😊. Looking forward to all your next videos. Well wishes 😊
I was also sick lol
@tfft glad your well
Gostei do seu vídeo … gosto de quem fala a vdd parabéns vou continuar assistindo seus vídeos grande abs …
Obrigado 🙏
Excited for you to fly (or upload) your flight to LHR on the a350.
Publishing on Thursday. Thanks for watching 🩴
As a New Yorker the Asiana Interior reminded me of Fredy Laker DC10… and People Express B747 Capitol’s DC8-62.. of the 80’s…🤓🤓🤓
A bit disappointed you didn't say "Papaya Dog after 6 too many..."
@@tfft jajaja! Kevin you crack me up!! Abrazo Rey de Hawaiianad
I Havent Experince ASIANA AIRLINES Jet.Great Video And Info

Agreed regarding the red eye north/south food menu in SE Asia being breakfast focused.
I did BKK-HND in F a couple of weeks back on JAL, departing at 10pm, and it was a bit of a disappointment precisely because of this. All the pax in F were getting loaded while picking away at the relatively slim pickings, so most slept through the very serious breakfast.
Yeah, JAL is one not to mess with on night time departures. Their late night flight out of SFO (I believe) doesn't even get a meal after take off.
You know it’s a bad vacation when you’re sitting next to your significant other on the way there and at opposite ends on the way back especially if you both are in the single seats at the opposite side of the plane 😂
Or... could be really good... depending on how you look at it lol
Not familiar with this airline but clean cabin🎉 cool cabin🎉. Thanks for yet another fab video.
Thanks for watching 🩴
Great video, as always! Pro tip for skipping immigration both ways: the Park Hyatt Saigon offers airport fast track service for arrival/departure (roughly $70 each way) so, if you're willing to spend the cash on a night there, you can request that service and get through immigration in 5min flat both ways instead of waiting for hours :) I'm sure there are other ways to do this too but this is the one I know so I thought I'd share! Cheers!
Sure, you can do it without the hotel as well- but I'd rather wait in line than prepay and arrive to no line lol.
@@tfft Gotcha, understandable! Just putting it out there for others too :) Thanks again for making me discover the Park Hyatt Saigon and EVA Air Business Class, I would NEVER have known of such gems had it not been for your FANTASTIC videos! Cheers!
Not flown Aseana in over twenty years; for transpac flights out of BKK, BR and SQ fit the bill nicely 😊
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Nice flight ✈️ 🎉
Thanks very much 🙏🏻
Nice review as usual! Just curious, have you ever considered reviewing Malaysia Airlines on your channel?
Already filmed. Thanks for watching 🩴
Nice review. As a poor commoner I can only compare it with a Asiana flight Incheon to Cebu in economy in a narrow body A-321 neo. Every aspect was just that little step better than the rest. ( flew Airasia back) Easy booking, stressles check inn, nice seating , good food !
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Thank You ✈️

Another amazing review! I have always been intrigued by Asiana and especially Korean carriers. My first ever international trip was on Korean Air’s A330-300 from BOM to ICN. Since then Korean and Asiana have pulled out a lot of direct services from India and they now operate only from Delhi direct. I wonder what could be the reason for that as it used to be THE fastest choice to west coast of US from India at one point. I hope they come back to India and I get to travel on their amazing products.
The Korean carriers have never performed amazingly well. KE’s resurgence is in large part due to the deal with DL and DL couldn’t care less about India lol
@@tfft Haha makes complete sense! Lol DL used to operate connection between JFK-BOM which they discontinued and it makes sense why they wouldn't want to invest here given they have a major market of their own to cater to which will help them generate the kind of revenue they envision. :)
The Decor is very much....Hey, Asiana the 70's called, and they want their Mustard back...lol...😜
Haha yes
New airport using the same runways, or new new airport? It would be like a Christmas Miracle for me to find an airport in the middle of the city. How cool is that?
New new new airport.
I love Asiana biz. Took the A380 BKK-ICN-LAX r/t. Great seat, and i like the bathroom window and amenities. The seat was wonderful and I didn't even realize that the aircraft was moving until we were about to go airborne because it was such a smooth ride on the top deck. The ICN lounge was ok (couldn't hold a candle to KrisFlyer But still good). Great experience and would fly them again. We had a totally different interior by the way. I don't recognize this on the triple seven. It looks awful. But the A380 was gorgeous
Thanks for sharing ✈️
So it wasn't a bad flight but it wasn't a OMG YES I LOVE THIS type of flight either I guess? Anyway, great video as always but I hope you do take care of yourself coz gosh it must be EXHAUSTING to be constantly getting on and off of planes. I love how you have the next 5 videos planned but please keep your mental and physical health first
Next five videos are only public… the next 22 are uploaded already and through October is filmed already 😅 I’m a workaholic, but yes- always some time to unwind. Thanks for watching 🩴
@@tfft THAT IS CRAZY wtf??? we love a hard working king
Great video as always - it just appears that they are winding down - the carts look old and banged around and it’s not dressed with a cart cover - the food whilst looking ok just felt a little ordinary to me - overall I think it’s good that they are merging and saying annyeonghi gaseyo to that ghastly mustard and brown interior - thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing ✈️
Hi Kevin How Are You I Really Like Your Video I Have A Two Request Video First One is Could You Fly From Montreal To Las Vegas Business Class Second New York To San Antonio Texas Business Class
Of all of the things to request, these are the last two I was expecting lol
What an amazing collection of planes. How much does the wing walk cost?
Is it easy to get accommodation there? Doesn't seem a very big population.
Epic trip though 👍
...huh? lol
@@tfft ohh... how odd thought I was replying to another video. I think it swapped over while I was folding the laundry 🤣
The cabin is literally Grey Poupon in color and I would happily dip my wurst in it. 97/100
Makes for easy cleanup!
News broke recently that Vietnam Airlines does not intent to operate in the new T3 terminal, but the news didn’t cover too much as for what specific reasons. I assume it have to do with connecting between the T3 and existing terminal is not convenient, according to ACV, they plan to use buses and it takes up to 15 minutes to travel between them.
To my knowledge they never intended to. T3 I always understood to essentially be a terminal just for Vietjet.
Have you visit any high end hotel in your stay in HCM City
Not recently.
So a question, is the heat wave really bad over there because I'm returning to revisit my family at the end of the month
It ended like a week ago.
Interesting 👍✈️🇷🇺
Thanks for watching 🩴
I used Asiana a ton in 1999, flying them monthly between LAX and Seoul, first via old Gimpo airport in Seoul and then the new one in Inchon. I also flew them weekly between Seoul and Yosu on the southern tip of the Korean peninsula. Why Asiana connecting through LAX from Chicago instead of Korean Air direct from Chicago to Seoul? Two reasons. The primary one was Korean Air's terrible safety record. They were flying about one 747 per year into terrain. [A couple of years later, Korean Air's CEO and has son were charged with stealing almost US$70 million from the safety and maintenance budget and sentenced to prison.] The second was that Asiana was part of OneWorld at the time, and I was Executive Platinum on American. Their upper deck Business Class service was excellent. My airfare was paid by my consulting client in Korea, so I had to fly Business and not First.
Thanks for sharing ✈️
You mentioned there was a 10 kg limit to carry-on baggage. How much more carry-on baggage is allowed for business class passengers?
Double that.
I'm really curious, why you filmed alot in Vietnam?
I lived there.
I wonder if JAL merges with ANA, since JAL has been in a huge financial crisis until almost declared their Chapter 11
JAL had a profit of over $600M last year. I don’t think they’ll be needing a takeover anytime soon lol
Speaking of your routing you could have been gone all the way to New York JFK on Asiana from Ho Chi Minh City Tan Son Nhut AFB your second leg of the flight South Korea to JFK Filipino passengers from Clark and Cebu join in some of them from Manila willing to avoid Philippine Airlines PR126. Absolutely like it and for the Korean Air Asiana merger they need to reopen Newark airport KE021/022.
6:00 another familiar seat type from your videos the Stelia Solstys to tell them apart from the Thai Airways version check the upholstery South Korea Asiana you have a light grey fabric purple version Thai Airways.
As I said, I flew the route that was actually available lol
Agreed Asiana’s mustard and gray interior is the most unattractively offensive out of all the airlines I’ve flown. Great service and great food though.
Flying Asiana is one of the times where I hope they’d just leave the cabin lights off so I couldn’t see the interior properly.
Thanks for watching 🩴
Re. Business class cabin color- no one surpasses the flying diarrhea color scheme of Air India. They even covered up the leased Delta 777-200ER planes’ blue business class seats with the ugly golden brown fabric.
Yes, but in AI's case, it is so garish that it's almost fallen off the scale and come round to the other side again.
I would be totally surprised if yt was the only source of income for you to be able to afford these....
That’s a very odd thing to say. Shall we question your income sources as well…?
I hope KE and OZ merger happen real soon.
...why? lol
