This was my girlfriend / ex wife's song growing up... It was our love song. I remember running to her house in the snow with my petticoat on listening to this counting the seconds to her door. I loved her so much I swear I made the snow melt, I felt nothing, but love and warmth united from this song and the longing to be with her. Thank you The Cure, and thank you A.F. for posting this. May you be well.

For the start sorry for my English everyone here.... Ok. Lets go. I grew up with the Cure and allways.... get emotional when i hear them. I dont know why. Im 45 now and still dont know.... They blow my mind... thx to them. I allways remember my past. And when i was young, again emotional... thx this band. As one day said Robert Smith " every person can connect with my dream world. Where life can be ungry, lost, hysterical and joyfull. All at the same time".
He tightened those strings on this song sounds amazing, drums also their early versions had a more tight feel those devilish sounds came through better.
@@drummerboyharm3078 Those gigs in Japan were the ruin for him... The last date they had in Tokyo, Andy was arrested. Totally wasted and destroying his hotel room. It was the second time (Scotland, same story). The Thompson Twins were there in Japan as well, Boris Williams was the drummer, they ask a favour... You know the rest of the story.
Still my favorite cure song
Always has been, always will be. Fantastic book, too.
still is❤
Mee too❤
“Come to me scared princess…”
I love that line.

Good pun!
The CURE 's sound was so beautiful. Haunting voice and haunting riffs of guitar. Bassline perfect !
People don't give *Rob* credit for being a serious guitarist, but when younger he was a beast live!!

Was? They just played in San Diego last night.
The talent The Cure has is limitless. This song is just one strong example.
I really love this live version. I even love how they sped the tempo up.
