Thank you, sis. Some of the tips I share for you are tips passed on to me, as developed by mentors in their law school days, and carried onwards and forward, to their present practice of the law. This is also why I push full-time students to stop thinking of law school as school per se, but approach it as a full-time job. This will help ease the guilt of smooching off of your parents, and somehow tilt the scale away from walwal and towards adulting.
Habang pinapanood ko po ang mga videos nyo at iniintindi yung mga sinasabi ninyo kahit yung iba po hindi ko naiintindihan dahil mahina pa english skills ko pero my heart flutter po sir lex maraming salamat sa aral 😊
English, just like any skill, is an acquired skill. Given enough time, attention and opportunities, your command of the English language will improve. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Thank you very much Atty. It help a lot you give us aspirations and motivations to soar. May your passion in lex motion showers to all filipino barista to work hand in hand for the Great One purpose peace and unity. Mabuhay ka...

"kung makikilala ka ng professor mo, hahaba na rin ang buhok mo, bes." LOL!. I remember in my criminal law 1 & 2 i have the same prof. and since kilala na nga ako [as one of his students who passed crim. 1] my prof. asked me easy questions on my recitation :D. Kaso nga lang name ko na ang palagi nyang ginagamit sa examples nya and kapag trip nya magjoke. LOL! :D
Being a recognizable face helps, but only to a point. There's that pressure to continue performing well. Thank you for sharing, sis. Tonight's episode is all about how you can improve your note-taking skills for instant law school success. 😊❤️🙏🏻
That has always been the goal, kapatid. Masaklap man kung mabokya but we live for the shining moments. If we get them night after night, then there's really no reason for you not to succeed in law school. ❤️😊🙏🏻
This is one of my unanswered questions up until now. I don't know where and how (and probably when 😆) to study. I am so thankful that you have made this video.
Thank you Sir Lex. I’m because I think I’m having a breakdown. Lapit na ng midterm exams and sobrang dami kong backlog. Ang hirap maging working student, tapos hindi pa matalino. Nakakaiyak.

Thank you so much kuya lex for another wonderful, fun and very informative video! Always looking forward to them every friday! Just keep on inspiring us kuya. Youre doing Gods work.
Lex in Motion youre welcome kuya. Malaking bagay to sa mga aspiring lawyers. Also, kuya lex, can you do a video in the future regarding the difference between JD and LLB, Advantages/disadvantages(if there are any) etc. Im an incoming freshman ngayong august mag start yung school and JD kinuha ko kasi gusto ko ma enhance yung research skills etc ko. Im curious, and i think, some of your followers are, as well, as to what your thoughts are between the two. Hehe. Thanks kuya
I've discussed the distinctions between the LLB and JD program here: ruclips.net/video/_tFJrYrbN4Q/видео.html Watch until the end for the recommendations. :)
Salamat, sis. Minsan late ang Facebook posts dahil sa traffic sa Quiapo but they’re always ready for viewing here on RUclips every Friday at 6:00 pm. 😊❤️👌🏻
Salamat, kapatid. Next week’s episode is all about the Waiting Game of Summer and Life After the QPI. The week after that is the Comprehensive Guide to the Kinds of Case Digests in Law School and How to Do Them. 😉💯
Kain, Library, pasok, tulog Kain, Library, pasok, tulog Kain, Library, pasok, tulog Kain, Library, pasok, tulog Kain, Library, pasok, tulog Kain, Library, Laba, Tulog And every time I turn on my gaming rig on free time I feel guilty :/
That shouldn’t be the case, bro. I always advocate for 24 hours each week for rest and recreation. Mine typically begins with date night on Saturday followed by family or binge gaming on Sundays. Your RGB lighting should somehow help you decompress and de-stress from the intense focus we do for law school. 😌🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for this video Atty. Lex. I would like to ask po kung anong gamit mong application in presenting the different tips in this video, Atty.? Thanks po.
I'm currently in 9th grade and I think I'm very good at political science and history, I wish I could study for law school because that was my mother's dream job, I want to do it for her
Thank you for sharing, kapatid. Welcome sa Lex in Motion Community. I want to be part of your law school journey, however way I can. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Thank you for your videos! I've been watching other law tip videos on youtube as well but they are mostly videos made by lawyers abroad. They mainly recommended having commercial outlines to supplement the case readings. Are there any Philippine commercial outlines that you would recommend?
In the Philippines, we rely primarily on the codal provisions, the cases as chosen and assigned by professors and the textbooks - which are essentially a restatement of the first two, plus the author's comments, usually derived from previous bar exams, their own experiences and legislative history. Commercial outlines are generally used by bar reviewees to guide their study of the law, and the usual suspects in the bar exams. Commercial outlines are very, very useful in common-law jurisdictions where students bank on precedents. Question: Joining a fraternity: essential or not? I've always wanted to go to law school pero I don't think kaya ko sumali ng frat. I heard sobrang disadvantaged ka pag hindi ka sumali.
Fraternities and sororities are a sensitive topic and to answer your question - kung essential sila sa Law school? The answer is NO. You can be lawyer without joining them. Thousands have done so without affiliates. Do they confer advantages? Of course they do. These advantages come at a cost in time, energy and often, mental effort. Is this a price you’re willing to pay? Or would you rather spend those resources making your own notes, building your own network and educating yourself elsewhere? These questions are yours to answer once you enter law school. Be mindful of your school’s rules on fraternities. God bless you, bro and your law school dreams.
Good to know. I've always been self-sufficient, and I really can't see myself joining one. But there are those who say that it is such a disadvantage not to join na it's hard not to feel discouraged. I'm currently based abroad but my plan is to enter law school when I come home so that I can focus as a full-time student (watched both of your videos on the pros/cons of both full-time and working). I'm a Phil CPA so it would be interesting to see some of the Civil law subjects like Obli/Con and Taxation from the law side. Salamat!
As I've mentioned on the comprehensive guide to entering law school, there is no single law school that can claim to have the divine right to exclusively producing the best lawyers in the country. There is no best law school, only students who want to be the very best version of themselves. Hope this helps, sis. God bless you and your law school dreams.
Walang set time na "dapat," kapatid dahil nakabatay yan kung ilang oras ang kaya o available sa iyo. I hope this helps, kapatid. God bless you and your law school dreams. See you again on Friday! 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hi, sis. I read a lot of books outside of law school and some of them I share in this channel. I will recommend the works of Brian Tracy at Jack Canfield; sama na rin si Tim Ferris, Jen Sincero at Sean Covey (anak ni Stephen Covey); for productivity - I recommend Cal Newport, Chris Bailey, Simon Sinek, Grant Cardone and Mark Manson. To appreciate them more, I recommend you start with the work of David Allen, and Getting Things Done followed by Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers and Blink. For business, I rely mostly on the work of Dean Pax Lapid, Zig Ziglar and Napoleon Hill, although luma na siya. Siyempre, Dale Carnegie na rin. For law school, I recommend Azucena, Duka and Poquiz for labor. Nachura and Bernas for political law. For civil law, siyempre si Atty. Rabuya, followed by Tolentino and Jurado. The work of Paras deserves special mention. Mahirap sundan, matrabaho but if you "get" Paras, I'll recommend him all the way. For Remedial Law, you have Riano and supplemented by Festin. For legal forms, go for Javier because he has the ultimate compilation of all manners of pleadings. For Commercial Law, you have Aquino and the book of Atty. Ladia. Ang mantra ko for Taxation, in Mamalateo we trust. However, since the passage of the TRAIN Law, I have had to count more on my appreciation of the Revenue Regulations - but the doctrines remain the same. For criminal law, the gold standard is still Reyes, and supplemented by Campanilla and Ticman. Marami pa, sis. Book I am currently reading - The Art of the Deal by Donald Trump.
Thank you for asking, bro. I'm always happy to answer the creative side of this channel. The work begins in Illustrator and animated in After Effects. I finish everything in Premiere Pro. For the first episodes, I did the blackboard texts using Photoshop and Quicktime to capture the screen, parang lecture lang. Now, I used Explaindio and VideoScribe. Gapang ang render and come up with brand new episodes each week is a labor of love. 😉
I can just imagine how difficult that would be. Isa kang alamat. Mahilig din ako sa graphic arts, pero hanggang photoshop / layouts lang ang kaya ko for now. Sana umabot din ako sa level mo master. haha. See you around panyero.
I will atty. legal management palang ako pero soon saan paba babagsak ngayon palang nag aaral na ako ng mga pang law malaking tulong tong channel niyo atty. Godbless
Hi, kapatid. Thank you for the question. I have a strict approach towards nutrition. I avoid fast food and chips, whenever I can. I eat food that we make at home, as a general rule and take eating seriously because I have reversed my diabetes, and will continue to do so for as long as I can. That being said, supplements take a very small role in what I eat. I trust that the macro and micronutrients I get, I get from our well-planned menu. There's simply no substitute to eating cleanly, getting enough sleep and lifting heavy things. Hope this helps. ❤️😊🙏🏻

I'm currently based abroad but my plan is to enter law school when I come home so that I can focus as a full-time student (watched both of your videos on the pros/cons of both full-time and working). hello po!! thank you so much for this vid and i’d like to ask, what course did you take as your pre-law po? :)) thank you!!
Thank you for asking, sis. I finished BA Political Science from the University of the Philippines-Manila. 😊❤️🙏🏻
Hello Atty! Pwede po bang humingi ng listahan ng schools na sa tingin niyo magandang pasukan. Salamat po in advance. Stay blessed po!
As I've mentioned on the comprehensive guide to entering law school, there is no single law school that can claim to have the divine right to exclusively producing the best lawyers in the country. There is no best law school, only students who want to be the very best version of themselves.

Sinu-sino pong author ang most helpful para sainyo?

Gusto ko po sana mag-aral na bago umenter ng law school so i would like to ask kung anong mga kailangan kong basahin. What are the books i need? Anong pagkakasunod sunod? Tapos panu ung mga cases? San ko po ba un pwedeng basahin in advance?
Hi, sis. Thank you for reaching out. Thank you for being here. I've made an earlier episode on how to prepare for law school after passing the PHILSAT. I've always added links to diagnostics to gauge your skill level coming into law school. Hope this helps.
