Very!
Detectives around the world deserve medals for having to sit through interviews like this.
Idk how they do it 😞
Yeah it’s only entertaining for us not them. Super hard work 100% if they were offered to A. You can build this house. B. Back to the interrogation room. A. All day. 😂. In that case we all deserve awards for watching it.
Not all. Some are jirks!

Any time they say “it’ll just be a minute” or “I’ll be right back” and offer you water then make you wait around 2 hours until they come back in the room, you’re definitely a suspect.
🙏😜 this comment brought me so much joy!
Anytime you are sitting across from two detectives. . . . You are a suspect!
I'm the kind of person who needs constant stimuli of one sort or another -- I need a book to read or a tablet to play games on or a phone or music -- SOMEthing to occupy my brain -- or I go absolutely insane. I've always said that my definition of Hell is being stuck in a room with nothing to look at, nothing to read, nothing to hear, no one to talk to. Being stuck in an interrogation room for 2 hours sitting on uncomfortable plastic chairs with nothing but a bottle of tasteless water -- I'd be ready to confess to the Kennedy assassination just to get the hell out of there.

Is that blood on her hands?!??😵💫
@@roseleperlier1991yeah she had blood on her hands they gave her gloves and then she got blood on them and just sits there chilling 😮
It's like that one interrogation where the woman sits there with her ex boyfriend's blood all over her. If I'd just found my partner dead and had his blood all over me, I can't say how I'd act, but I don't think I'd just be all "meh" about it.
Right! I've noticed this very point in a number of interrogations where blood is clearly on the suspect.

I immediately felt some Sarah Boone vibes coming through when she began explaining their drinking habits.
Dude sameee. I was about to post this same comment. " we were playing games" "we were drinking" blaming every issue on him. I was like before there was a Sarah Boone there was this girl.
Yup! 100% agree - I got those same vibes. She, like Sarah - tried to blame the victim for their murder/death!
Yes! I immediately thought of SB also. I love how she started off saying she hardly ever drinks, then literally proceeds to describe herself as a regular drinker who was 'proud" of herself for having dinner that night.
Just the suitcase is missing....😂😋😋🤣
The voice of Sarah's victim sometimes plays in my head. When he was calling out to her. Ugh. That case haunts me.
Her keeping those gloves on… clue #1. I’m a nurse and they are very uncomfortable leaving them on for a length of time. Also… talking about her “hiccups”” 4 EVER!!!! Ugh!!! 😫😫😫
The 1st thing that really struck me that she's guilty was her answer when the detectives asked if she was injured under her shirt sleeves. She answered, "No, I mean, these sleeves don't really come up, so if there was, there would be a cut on the shirt". Not one single time in the interview was the mention of a knife, or any weapon, used in the death, not one time was it mentioned that she was in the room when he got stabbed (only way she could get her shirt, hand, or arm cut), not one time was it mentioned there was a fight (which she alluded to when she said, "...there would be a cut on the shirt". That would happen in a struggle with the knife.
Yeah, I was only listening in the background and that caught my attention immediately
This woman had it all, a nice house, a work from home job, and a man who actually worked. A freaking dream!!!! She screwed it all up. I wish I could trade places before she killed that man. I have always worked my butt off and found guys who wanted to use me as a meal ticket

Her crying is absolutely INSUFFERABLE, grinds every last gear!!
if you've ever been with a woman you'll know that's their go to when seeking pity or foregiveness. "I did something wrong? waaa boo hooo sniff wail" feel sorry for me. A man who maintains his frame will ignore it and then they'll say "you don't care about meeee" No, I don't care about your fake sympathy tears. I'm not a violin and you can't play me.
Thats only bc yk she’s lying. If the commenter titled this “women speaks in interview about her boyfriend that was murdered” You wouldnt feel that way😂
I think she felt bad. Her tears are real. But not because she killed him.

I feel so bad for this girl. No one should endure what she had to go through. Did you hear how she would get the hiccups? Sometimes it would last 15-60 minutes!! She is for sure a brave soul, how she musters the courage to get out of bed everyday is beyond me. This is a profile in courage if I've ever seen one.
You had me at the first 2 sentences lol.

That is true, plus she had to live with an alcoholic.

Those debilitating hiccups just suck! Sometimes, they would last for 65 whole minutes and no way in hell could she drink her vodka to prep for a grueling work day as a cam girl. I hope she is safe and hiccup-free wherever she is.
"I'm so distraught...do you have a Fitbit?"
The thought process of an innocent person lol
As soon as she chose to keep the gloves on, I knew she was hiding something!! So good, thanks for the content

I LOVE my cat. I'm a 55 year old guy with a 55 year old lady and we didn't have kids so he gets insanely spoiled.
I dont think they carry the emotional trauma like humans do. I could be wrong because they are domesticated.
Animals in the wild such such savagery every day that they just accept it as life.
But I wouldn't want my cat to see anything like that.
@@markmike7933 I'm not sure about cats, but I know from my own experience dogs can feel powerful empathy and love for their owners. I believe they would all have felt trauma that terrible night - we can only hope it wasn't long lasting.
It's heart breaking that Matthew's beloved husky dog, who he adored and had from a puppy, was present when he was viciously stabbed to death by that monstrous, knife-wielding girlfriend, screaming "I hate you!" "Go F yourself!" and "So F-ing die!" as he cowered on the ground in the foetal position.
And she left him to bleed out for hours, before she called 911 (his cause of death was a stab wound to the arm, which hit an artery). By the time paramedics arrived, he had rigor mortis. I feel the animals will have been aware of the extreme violence, even if they didn't see it - they are very perceptive, and would definitely have heard the aggression and fear, and smelled the blood. And I suspect Matthew's dog will have grieved his loss - when a dog loves you, it will never forget you. I pray they are now all living in loving forever homes
That was literally the first thing I thought about when she says they had animals. I wondered what was going to happen to the poor things & if they all got good homes?
She made sure to implicate her ex boyfriend. What a sweetheart!
Yep, she'd have happily seen her ex boyfriend serve a life sentence for the murder she committed!

As the interview goes on, her resentment of the victim comes through more and more clearly.
Stabbing someone in the back is never self-defense.
It absolutely can be. Imagine you’re kidnapped, held hostage etc. you been held hostage for days and the moment the perp turns around you stick him with whatever it is that you can so you can try to run away. That is self defense right?
And as soon as those detectives walk out to whisper to each other, the sniffles stop and she's listening with all her might.

"he had a drinking problem" "we walk around during meals, it helps us think" I have the feeling both of those were about her. And JUST her. She isolates him, keeps him from having anyone over, controls everything he does... I've seen that pattern before. Sometimes the guy manages to escape before the female ends up killing him.
@@TQFMTradingStrategies What you are describing is how a covert narcissist 1st "love bombs" (you are my soulmate) and then it goes to devaluation stage until they rob their victim of their self esteem and everything that was good in their life. I agree.
She wanted him for his money since she's a failure at "modelling". He was a free ride for her and when she knew he was out and she was going to lose the house and have to work for her own money she killed him.
@@madsdee7803 She said he gave up his commission-only job because he wasn't making any money - like it wasn't a problem. I think it was a BIG problem. Sounds like she was the sole breadwinner, and as they recently bought a house together and had a lot of joint financial responsibilities, I bet she was getting real resentful about him not contributing. She claimed she didn't mind him not working, because he helped out in the house and did a few repairs - Yeah, right! I call BS! Money is the biggest reason couples fight.
She is clearly a narcissistic abuser. It was revealing that she had no friends to call up for a place to stay, when cops asked her. She was so desperate, she was even prepared to call her victim's brother - despite the fact he'd never liked her, and she'd just murdered his sibling!
These control freaks become obsessive about their partner, to the exclusion of all other relationships/friendships. Once they've hitched their wagon to a victim, they want to shut out the world and be totally dependant on each other. It's all about power and control. Often they will physically move the victim many miles from their friends and family, to isolate them and get the dependency they crave.
We more typically see cases of controlling men who abuse, and ultimately kill a female partner. This case and others like it are a reminder that women can be narcissistic abusers too. And they can be better at it, because people don't generally suspect females of the kind of domestic abuse/coercive control that's much more common from males.
It's just a shame this video was so thin on the facts and context of this murder case. It's really just 1 hour 38 minutes of a pretty boring and evasive, first police interview - before the cops realised the subject was the killer, and put any pressure on her. I felt cheated at the end, having sat through all that and winding up with so many unanswered questions. What was her eventual story/confession? What did the video footage of the couple from inside the house reveal? What was the suspected motive? How did she get away with second degree murder and 20 years, rather than a life sentence? Hopefully there's a video out there that provides the answers - sadly, this one certainly did not!
She cried at the most random details, like the beer and the credit card. Also white claws are “too sweet” for her but trulys aren’t.. weird. If I was the detective I would’ve been suspicious about 10 minutes in.
😨 WAIT, what’s her deal with the bloody hands???? WHY??? Gross 😷😵
At first I thot this was some kind of mean tactic by police but they clearly offered her relief from that & they even gently encouraged her to remove the disposable gloves, by reminding her that her hands will start sweating from those latex gloves.
She had a big gash on her hand, defensive wounds likely from him trying to stop her, she was calculated in keeping them on so they wouldn't see it and give her more time to come up with excuses
If you notice towards the end of the interrogation when the cops start asking her direct questions about whether there was any sort of physical violence her answers are extremely quiet and short. Every time she says “no” it comes out quieter and quieter each time. There’s a huge difference from how she answers every other question. In the beginning her answers were loud and very long but when directly confronted she changes her entire demeanor
The type of bitch that gets away with hitting her man because she fooled him into thinking she's all that.
LOOK AT THE BIG BRAIN ON BRAD….
Yes she very easy to read
Astute analysis my friend.
That’s because there were no issues, silly! (Sarcasm)
Nobody innocent (and in their right mind) would keep bloody gloves on for any longer than they absolutely had to! That right there shows the length she went to in order to hide what she did.
I swear aim seeing her hands and rings on her bloody ficking fingers. Where are these gloves?

I dream of a day where I won't be leaking tears. I could fill oceans and never make a sound.
@@anastasiabeaverhausen8652sorry for your loss 😔💕
The fact he would tell her he had a feeling he was going to die young, not knowing she would be the reason why :(
I feel she resented her engagement ring, expecting something more expensive. & resented him not working. She obviously had anger issues, with being stabbed in the back it sounds like he was trying to get away. Hardly self defence. Liquor & anger is a bad mixture
Remove the booze and everything changes. I doubt if the murder would have happened. Sad.
BAM! I too think money was a big cause of resentment. She claims she didn't mind him not earning, as he did housework and repairs - but I call bull%hit! The house they had recently bought was huge - four bedrooms with a swimming pool, the mortgage repayments must have been substantial. That put a lot of pressure on her as sole breadwinner, and her work as a cam model/online sex worker was likely unreliable.
However I think the trigger for the murder was his intention to leave her. His family said he had recently told her he no longer wanted to appear in her videos with her, and she was mad about it. She sensed he was pulling away, and I think that night, sick of all the fights and her constant criticism, he told her it was over.
She strikes me as a narcissistic abuser - and they cannot take rejection. It's the age old 'If I can't have you, no one else will'. The audio of the entire murder, taken from a neighbour's security camera, shows exactly how vicious, enraged and out of control she was - a far cry from the passive, weeping little woman she portrays for police. Poor guy!

It's a shame she thought her cam life equaled actual acting talent and thought she could BS and "cute" her way out of murder. According to all her own statements her boyfriend had no enemies and never mistreated her. He gave up trying to work for himself to help her focus on herself. He gave her the shirt off his back when she was cold.. and yet, she stabbed him in the back. Truly a pathetic example of a woman/partner/friend. My condolences to all his real family and friends.
seen this one before and found it odd they did not ask her why she slept in the office chair and not in her/their bedroom. like "is that a normal thing? etc.?" just really seems like an odd place to sleep, but they just blow by it during her initial timeline.
i thought this too! weird they just hopped right past that. they could've sniffed out the inconsistencies/oddities of her story much earlier
Probably to not throw her off too much. Maybe afraid she would stop talking if they got too suspicious
They sleep in their living room chairs regularly.
So easy to spot fake crying like that. The fact she can continuously stop in the middle of these crying outbursts to answers questions clearly is a huge red flag.
Generally when people are full on crying or breaking down like that, they find it very hard to stop to speak, and when they speak it is often while still crying and its often unclear or difficult to understand.
its different for minor tears/crying, but for full on weeping like she is pretending to do here, you can't just control it with an on/off switch as she is doing here.
i had the same thought
right. the Jennifer Pan case is infamous for her interrogation, when she would start weeping while disclosing her story of what happened to her parents, but when investigators would interrupt her to question specific things, _suddenly_ she stopped crying so she could clearly answer. it's so jarring when people do that
When I weep, I'm loud, comes from the gut. It doesn't last long, maybe a minute or two. Other than that I have an occasional tear. I'm able to talk, chuckle even though I'm upset. I think the cops ignore the crying as they realize each person is different. Plu, most are crying for themselves.
The crying might be real, it seemed more real than most fake cryers to me. Just because she was the one who killed him doesn't mean she's not genuinely devastated by his death the next day.
I love that while she randomly cries about little things the two officers couldn't care less.
They lived such an idyllic beautiful life! it seems like they had it all, the house, both employed, the animals, and each other. They were going to get married and have this incredible future...all of that she just destroyed in one moment; seemingly over nothing. so sad.
The way she paints this picture perfect relationship, is a huge red flag!

it’s absolutely baffling how much she talks about herself when her boyfriend just died hours earlier
That's usually a tell.
No innocent person wants to talk to two cops for hours after their loved one was just murdered in their own home with them.
It's not baffling at all. Most people are very egocentric. What do you expect of those who made a choice of hurting others? Do you think they were sorry for them? They didn't think of them then and they surely aren't going to care for them afterwards.
Yes , only me me and me !
Who else are you describing to the letter? That being one Sarah Boone!!
That cut on her hand is huge and deep!!! They might've been fighting over the knife...he was probably trying to take it from her. 💔
Or her hand slid down the knife as she was stabbing him.
The detective's voice is calming and disarming. I think I'd confess anything to him.
I think it would be hard to be an criminal interrogator. To be able to stay so calm in the face of a murderer.
Has anyone noticed how she kept throwing in bits of "flattery" for herself throughout this interrogation? I probably didn't word that correctly, lol! But for example, she would keep mentioning how her fiance would make sure to do this or not do that because he KNEW he would lose her. And her ex was SO jealous of her being with someone else, she's a cosplay MODEL (make sure you write that down, MODEL), lol! It just had me shaking my head because little things stood out to me. She reminded me of an ex I knew who would say things like that: everyone wanted him, how he hit the DNA lottery, etc., etc. 😒 The narcissism in people like this makes you wonder to what extent would some of them go to to get what they feel they deserve? It's kind of scary to think about....
Noticed that too.
I also have a narcissistic ex, you notice the signs when you’ve lived through that type of toxicity
@alexab2016 Exactly! When you've gone through certain things you can pick up on stuff right away! It's crazy, smh... I feel so bad for his family. And after watching the entire video, I was thinking it's so strange how she thinks so highly of herself, but at the end she mentioned that she only has one "friend" who no longer speaks to her and the guys brother doesn't like her either 🤔 But she doesn't see a pattern here?...
Absolutely
I agree! What the heck did he see in her? It’s good to be confident but common just look at her!
So I have seen this story before it was either dreading or cruel world happy mind .
She lost a lot of weight and became super egotistical, going from cosplay to outright doing porn . I can understand having more confidence in herself after losing weight , but I was just confused at first when I saw her in court appearances and this video . not the first artist of that type to kill her boyfriend .
There was that OF model in Texas that stabbed her BF to death in “self defense “ claiming she “threw the knife at him “
Drugs are a no no but murder thats a big yes for her.
Got it
Drugs very very bad
Murder very very good!
Can i have american visa now, that i know your culture?
Just kiding
You gotta have standards in life lol seems like her priorities are legit 😂
I can’t stand hypocritical people like that
😂😂😂
This black out drunk went too far said forget it went to sleep and woke up and finished the bottle
3 weird things i noticed that you didn't mention. She said "I dont remember the glass breaking" but if she didnt hear him getting murdered why would she expect to remember the glass breaking, she was probably telling the truth and didnt remember breaking the glass while she was stabbing him.
She said "if I had any cuts on my arms there would be cuts through the sweater as this is what I was wearing last night" why would she have any cuts on her arms from last night that went through her sweater?
She also said that the garage door was definitely closed because they realised the cat was missing at 10 and thought it had gotten "out out" so went to look for it and found it in the garage. I dont know about you but i generally dont go from worried my pet had escaped and searching for it to so tired i fell asleep in my chair in the same time frame. If i remember rightly she was *so* tired between 10-10:30 that she had to go to bed.
Its crazy because she had them until she messed up about going through the kitchen to find him but somehow not seeing the blood everywhere and as soon as they turned that spotlight on her she crumbled.
Must be one of the rare interrogations where neither detective has a prominent bald spot.
I’m so glad I had a reason to be extremely suspicious of her choosing to wear tight orange gloves. Nobody would willingly choose to have sweaty uncomfortable hands😂
Who blows your nose with rubber gloves on.
Yeah, I started reading the comments right away in order to find out what the deal with her hands!
I'm just glad her leggings were black and not tan😂😂😂😂😂
When she wouldn't take them off, I knew she was hiding wounds to her hands. GUILTY!!!
She should have cosplayed as a better liar.
😂😂😂
she should of shut up
Lmfao 🤣 😂
Yes Holmes there is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact.
Mmmmmm ponder
Thank you so so much for the subtitles!
1:00:36 this is what is commonly known as deflection. She's telling the elaborate story about what happened with her ex instead of addressing the elephant in the room: mathew's blood all over the kitchen and her not noticing in the first story.
She sat through that whole interrogation wearing those nasty ass, bloody gloves. Who the hell does that?
Someone that wants attention!
Hidden blood
Psychos😂
Thanks I just saw that
A killer..
The couch delivery spaz out was the first red flag right off the bat
Correct! So irrelevant
That’s when I knew she was guilty
Right! I was like wtf? lol 👀
Has she never seen anyone in true grief after a trauma - pitiful! Thanks for another great video!!
I love that the serious conversation is continually interrupted by the spongebob bubble pop sound
I can’t speak for everyone, but I know whenever I talk about my “cash back” credit card, I get pretty choked up as well.
Her opening line when detective sit down is so shady..I'm a mess I have blood all over my face and chooses to keep on the nasty exam gloves - WTF. She was abusive -I'd bet my last nickel.
She was trying to hide that deep a$$ cut on her right hand for sure. That's the ONLY reason that makes any amount of sense to me.
Ngl that Luidamilla Fuentes bit at the end cracked me up. You know that cop was confused af.
50 minutes in and, if I didn’t know she did it, I would think she’s innocent. But then again I’m on the spectrum so I’m not always the best judge of people.
Honey, do not beat yourself, millions of people are not in the spectrum and are bad 'judging' people. Generally our brains do not go to malice naturally. Light and peace to your good soul. ❤
I am an empath, meaning I FEEL sadness from people only because if I were in there shoes I WOULD FEEL sad. I project too much. So, I too, am a bad judge of liars. We share the same "clueless" view of the world! 😁
I got to say that I love how the detectives switched gears once Melisa told them they she went through the kitchen when looking her fiancé [ at 55:05 ish]. They gave each other the look then it was game on, no more treating her as the potential victim.
He really was handsome but she was doing some first degree premeditated photo shopping her online image.
😂😂😂😂😂
Lol the hours put to transform from her natural look into whatever girl she aimed and imagined.... 😂😂😂😂 Selling herself was not a true calling, it was professional editing 🤦
On a lighter note I think it's pretty funny that "cosplay model" is being portrayed like a real job. Lol
This happened in my neighborhood. The house CANNOT sell. The backyard STILL has chairs all over the place like a struggle happened on the pool deck....
That's crazy. I bet it's haunting to live nearby and know so much.
@@nobody-gh2yf it's definitely strange! Especially since it's a relatively small neighborhood.
Her chairs?
Ya you'd think the realtor would address that If they were trying to actually sell it
@@vicvega3614 I'm assuming so. The neighbors actually caught a lot of the argument on their security camera (audio)... it was pretty brutal.
First time I'm hearing about this as a person who lives in the area. even crazier i knew this chick from high school. always was a bully, and rude to most. so to me: this is not even surprising in the least bit.
She was a bully really? Can u elaborate
@@vicvega3614 A wannabe "mean girl" bitch. who was stuck up, and would make fun of other people including me at certain points. people who bully people in school sometimes never change truly.
Now she’s GET IN MY BELLLLYY! IM GONNA EAT YA!
Man this girl is WAY OUT THERE!
Woah!
When I saw the cut on her hand and where it was located, my first thought was that it looked like the hilt of a knife maybe slipped past her grip because the cut appeared to be very wide. No doubt they found her blood mixed with her victim's blood and probably at the back area where she stabbed him.
I see why she wanted to keep them gloves on now. Poor kid probably didn’t even see it coming. The person You trust the most is always the first to stab you in the back.
Huh? She kept gloves on because she had blood all over her hands. Who sold her out? You act like she's innocent or something
The random things she suddenly pretends to get choked up about are so odd. The couch, the shared credit card…and then she snaps out of her fake cry voice as soon as a detective asks another question
And hiccups. Don't forget the hiccups
If you hadn't kllled your boyfriend, would you really ramble on about all this CRAP if you just found him dead in the yard? Wow.
My thoughts exactly
That’s exactly what I was thinking! She absolutely comes across as someone who is trying way to hard to tell as much detail as possible that it just seems over the top. Which gives the impression that she killed him in a rage, then panicked - coz she wanted to save her own skin. Then spent the rest of the night thinking about exactly what she was going to say, how she was going to say it etc etc. I really do not know how she thought she was going to get away with this!
Exactly. I think I would just be unable to talk about any of that stupid stuff- I mean she spent like 5 minutes explaining to the detectives how she gets terrible hiccups and how awful it is for her? - I would just be asking them over and over again, what happened to my boyfriend? Who did this? What have you found out so far? Why did someone do this? Etc…
She even remembered what time she got hiccups! Who takes note of the time they get hiccups?!
@@ruthisaurus8004 Cop: Did you go to bed? Is that what you did next?
Melissa: _I think well he was he you know you get talking when you get drinking and stuff and he was still having his beers and I think I mean I remember he was he was just still going and talking about stuff and I was kind of like yeah I'm here but I really I'm just I'm wanting to go to bed kind of like one of those like uh-huh okay I'm tired_
So, one of the common things I hear in so many of these spousal or partner murders is that they supposedly had no friends or support system. Abusers often isolate their victims. And from a non-abuse standpoint, being entirely isolated in your toxic relationship can really warp your reality and get you to some really dark places. In my own toxic relationships, some of them lasted as long as they did because I was isolated and didn't have other social options, so you keep going back to the source you know more readily fulfills your social needs, as flawed as it maybe. We definitely need friends beyond our SOs.
“You don’t have to be here if you don’t want to be. You do not have to talk to us. We aren’t here to trick you or play games.”
That is the trick. Go ahead and wrap it up😂
"We do like edibles"subtitles did make me giggle
Haha me too! I love some of the inappropriate subtitles in some of these videos 😂
I feel sorry for people for whom english isn't their first language. At least most of us can get the gist.
