The more we dig in the sister arc, the more things we'll find.
This is also another thing that I've learned from it: What you see is not the whole matter, it's just what you see.
When we talk about Mildred, we remember the scandal that she unleashed on the people in a town. But instead of running away from Mildred like we saw in the episode "Meeting of the minds", the residents actually... hunted her, like the Europeans did back then.
Picture an angry crowd, torches held high, rakes in hand, chanting as they go, “Get her.” as they hunt for a witch. It's classic, and also scary. And surprisingly, we will meet that image in "Summer Camp Island".
“That one over there, she's a witch!”
“Find and bind the bad witch!”
They chased Mildred, they drew caricatures and posted them all over the city. They came to Miss Mary's house, threatening her if she dared to hide her.
And it was even more brutal when the crowd tried to arrest Susie even though she had not caused any harm to them. It's simply because she's Mildred's older sister.
You know it's gone too far when the innocent people get hurt.
“Capture one hot corn twin, capture them both."
This is considered the first and also the most famous witch hunt in the "Summer Camp Island" universe, when more than 3 centuries have passed and they still remember it.
The word “witch-hunt” today also refers to accusing, hunting, and punishing a person based on emotional reasons. The case of "witch hunt" in SCI successfully applies both its literal and figurative layers. Mildred is not evil, she simply cannot control her emotions.

      Spoilers:
Since, technically speaking, it's not Susie AND Ramona that saved magic (I think so at least), and I don't recall Hedgehog making an important contribution to the saving of magic (I only recall Oscar's peanut butter and honey sandwich), I wonder what that prophecy was about? Whom did it mean by "two best friends"?

I think the one thing I didn't like about this season, specifically from the Susie and Mildred story was Susie's parents being a man and a woman and not 2 dads. Which implies that Ghost's dads are just memories of the same person instead of 2 men that came together and fell in love which is kinda gross and feels like them trying to erase an MLM relationship. Now it feels more like... selfcest? then actual queer representation. It reminds me of homophobes that assume that I want to bang myself because I like girls which is obviously not how being queer works.

I mean, a lot of those ghosts are their own people; they're not necessarily based on - or even representing - people that Susie knows. Look at Ghost the Boy for example - his existence is based on Susie's memory involving Ramona, but he's not Ramona. The ghost dads just became a couple at some point, like how Ghost became their son some time after.
tl;dr I don't think every single one of those ghosts are reflections of real people.
