    I really envy their father and son relationship! It’s so cool that they were so close like best friends. Most father and son relationships are like ur dad is the boss, you can’t tell him everything like you can a friend which is normal that’s how most people are that I have met atleast. But I have met a few people that have really close relationships with their fathers like they are best friends and it’s just so cool. I was pretty close to my grandpa until I got my driver’s lo license at 16 then I just started to hang out with friends, meet new people and then years of partying. I only had one grandmother on my dads side that grandpa died before I was born and when this grandmother died I was like 19 and I felt bad I didn’t see her much the last few years but I was to young to realize family is what really matters. When my grandpa died when I was 28 I really regretted getting distant from him because I was doing the normal things kids do from teen to mid-late 20’s. All of them Saturday nights I spent partying with friends but I should have went to spend time with my grandpa atleast on Saturday nights even once a month bring a pizza over, hang out and talk about the war he was in and what not. After he passed away I started to spend more time with my grandma and I’m very grateful that I did even though I feel I didn’t spend enough time. When ur young you don’t realize that all these girls and friends just come and go they aren’t family, all the people that I was friends with during them years most of them I don’t talk to anymore, if I see them out shopping we don’t even say anything it’s like we’re strangers again. Im sorry for rambling here but I hope some young kids read this and take something from it, rather then going to the bar this weekend go get a pizza and hang out with ur grandparents! Or atleast go there every Sunday. Don’t waste the time you have with ur family with all these friends that really don’t care about you

      Alex probably fore went any claims to Ed’s estate, he’s got his own money. Wolf is his late brother’s son, one with whom he shared a stage with. I’m sure he (Alex) is all about doing right by Wolfie as a testament to his relationship with Ed. Agreed, that Alex has control over all things VH.

      Im very curious what happened with Janie. Pretty sure wolf got the house (hes on the property tax bill), and we know he got the studio & a good stake and say in the guitar manufacturing. Valerie Janie & Tom all follow each other on twitter. Wolf & Janie do not. Valeries book said J had moved out 2 years before he died. A recent interview W was talking about various people who wronged him being the focus of what a lot he is singing about. Then he said he didn't want to call anyone out, but people in his family had stolen from him. Hes got cousins from Alex. Uncles from Valerie. He is super close with Patrick Bertinelli. Ca is a community property state, but 100 million may have been enough to compensate Janie 50% and still give wolf the house. Unless they had a prenup. It looked like she really did go above & beyond trying to get and keep him healthy & sober, so I hope nothing too crazy happened there.

    • @gigitonsvajv
      @gigitonsvajv Год назад +1

      @@laurengriffin5713 I believe Edward definitely had a prenup. He wouldn’t leave all of his money up for grabs. Janie probably got a few million. On some of her instagram posts she works at a private school. I don’t know what she does though. She posts a good bit about her dance stuff and some of her wrestling things she does. I read somewhere that Alex has all of the control of any VH songs. He’s already worth $100 million.I don’t think he would’ve gotten any cash though. Valerie &Janie probably just have each other on twitter because they have for years. I’m sure you know each party were present during each other’s weddings. Even though V and E were divorced they felt like each other’s soul mates even after all that happened. I remember reading V’s book that she and Edward had a deep discussion about their relationship and he gave her that little gold necklace from Germany. I’m figuring that Wolfgang got the majority of everything. I know E would have left as much as possible if everything to Wolfgang and maybe even some to V. I think V&E would have been back together given enough time. I believe V is so wrought with so much grief and all of the regrets about she and Edward’s relationship that she’s really really depressed. She filled for divorce from Tom last fall. It’s all so sad.

    Museum??? Tributed to Van Halen would be awesome. Hard work indeed but, it could be great to have tours of the 5150 studio to which could be the base of a quaint museum to The Late Eddie Van Halen . I'm sure with the need of not needing money it certainly wouldn't take front role in Wolfies life I'm sure. Life goes on sometimes its just good to leave things as is ...Continued Blessings to Wolfgang and mom and fiancée as well as all who loved Eddie. 🖤🤘🖤

      Humble huh? I don't know..... he was OK with his dad firing the founding bass player and vocalist of Van Halen so HE could be in the band. Not a very cool thing to do. I would have told him "Thanks dad, but couldn't you have just bought me a castle or something?"

      I’m sure he got at least a few million. I don’t think Alex would’ve taken any cash when Eddie died because he’s already worth about 100 million as was Ed.I know Janie would have gotten some. I would imagine she had to sign a prenup.

    • @frankpaws

      @@gigitonsvajv I think Janie still lives at the house. I think the prenup was mostly based around Wolf.

      @@frankpaws In Valerie’s latest book she said Janie had moved out more than a year before Eddie died. She mentions the time she and Eddie had a heart to heart talk on thanksgiving day the year before he died and he told Valerie that they had problems in their marriage and she moved out. In the heart to heart talk Eddie gave her a gold necklace that he got in Germany. He didn’t get Janie anything. And since 5150 studio is on the same property as the house was I don’t think she got the house. I don’t think Wolfgang and Janie would be that close together. I read somewhere that when Eddie was on his deathbed Alex told Janie she couldn’t be in the room. Valerie also said in her book that Janie stayed about 20 minutes then left. I mean who really knows what all went down. I do however believe Valerie. She wouldn’t lie because it would hurt Wolfgang.
