You can still visit Scotland and see the remains of the cottages that had their roofs destroyed by greedy landlords who preferred to farm sheep for profit . I've been to Glencoe. Hauntingly beautiful. My husband and I eloped to Scotland. Got married in Callander and then toured around for our honeymoon. We even had a bagpiper at our wedding.

The scenery gets even better than that! There are much better places, even in Glen Coe and the surrounding area, and the railway track out of Fort William, over the Glennfinnan Viaduct! And not to mention Assynt, The Cairngorms and Skye!

I am Jamaican n my maternal Grandfather is a Scot…my sister Heather attended Nursing School at Southern General in Glasgow..I visited her on my reward trip for my GCE O ‘Level grades….lovely countryside…..have to say that in Jamaica , we have improved on some of ur recipes…spice does a lot for food
