A minor correction, BF Skinner's pigeon experiment that led to strange behavior rewarded the pigeons at random intervals, not regular time intervals! That was actually the point: a random interval between rewards is what led to the strange, repeated rituals, and this is why gambling is so effective at creating compulsion and addiction. The random nature of the payouts makes them feel more rare and valuable, making people play more and more to get "the next one".

Two other reasons that the number 13 is thought to be bad luck is that Friday the 13th is when the Knights Templar were disbanded and if there was a fire in a building the ladder could not reach passed the 12th floor, so being on the 13th was bad luck.
The only reason I won't under a ladder to prevent the pain pot from accidently falling over my head!

Wood is trapped gases within the body in TMC. Sometimes you have to knock on it to get the burp put. It causes tension in muscled, joints and other body parts. This causes the lymph to stagnant and hyper active vata conditions. Normally caused by a humid storm surge or spike within their environment. Rest and stuff is best. I'd tell you more but then you'd have to pay me.
I more or less agree with you, except. The most superstitious hockey player, ever, was Wayne Gretzgy. The most superstitious Basketball player? Michael Jordan. Someone needs to do a study of sport rookies, measuring their superstition level when they enter the Pros, then see how well they do in their career.

Little fun fact.Some might know it some might not :Treiskaidekaphobia are 4 greek words into one:Τρεις(tris=plural of three),και (ke=and),δεκα (theka=ten), φοβία(phobia=fear of something).Also we use "treis kai deka" only for time and not for dates or other measurements. Greek mathematician here 😛

I was shocked to learn a few weeks ago that “the evil eye” is an actual supernatural belief that some have. I always thought it was just the term given for someone giving you a mean look. Some people actually believe that if you give someone a mean look, you can bring bad events into their life. That’s “the evil eye.” Stupid but interesting.

The number 6 in the Bible often implies incompleteness or imperfection while the number 7 represents completeness or perfection. Also the repetition of something 3 times is often used for emphasis in the Bible. So it is reasonable to conclude that the number 666 is made to emphasize the imperfection of something. By way of context the Wild Beast that is given the name 666 in the Bible is representing the world political system. A system where mankind attempts to rule themselves rather than looking to God for rulership. And since he perceives the world political system as failing to meet his high standards he appropriately applies the name 666 to them. speaking of lucky charms -- i my self am a lucky charm, or so my friend claims. he says that every time i'm with him, he can always find a good parking spot, where as, when i'm not with him, he has a hard time finding a good parking spot. : ) so, Dave, if you're ever in my area and in need of a good parking spot, i'm your ticket. : D
about the number thirteen -- it's also said that a monk was put to death on that day. i don't remember his name, but supposedly it happened on the thirteenth of october (a friday) centuries ago. he was burned at the stake, i think. i don't recall the entire story, but that's also a possibility for why the number 13 is considered unlucky.

Hi david, can you do a segment on.. trumps body language it's seems that when he is uncomfortable or upset. He tends to lie. Is he insecure person. Just to make sure, I notice he tends to lie too much, and his body language is anxious.

Hey Alan, I am in agreement with you. Personally, I think things like superstitions, UFO's and ESP can keep life interesting and fun, just as long as we are not getting scammed or pumping money into something that may or may not be real. I just take these videos with a grain of salt.

We have other high rise buildings
with a 13th floor. This is in Texas
