About to play the semis this week, making mistakes is just a part of the game, i used to be scared of making mistakes but not anymore, even pro players make mistakes so don't be afraid!
Being afraid of making mistakes demotivates you from trying trchnical skills and strategies......I was also afraid of making mistakes but I soon realised that only if you make mistakes, I will learn how to correct them. Sending hugs to everyone! 😀
Thank you so much for the video. I had a game today and we lost 2:1 due to a mistake I made in the last 8 minutes of the game (I am a goalkeeper). I kept myself beating up, asking what more could I do, even though I am training 4 times per week and doing everything I can to improve. I will try see things more positive and move forward. Even if it sucks being at fault for making your team lose, I am not going to quit, no matter what :)
other people critizing my playing or when i make a mistake they complain and that destroys my confidence but i try to not listen to them so i would definetly try your tips
Really needed this video. My confidence has been really low because i beat myself up after every mistake but watching this has made me realise that what i need to fix is my mentality.
I know what discouraged feels like. So on my first match for football I was not doing that good I was offside when I scored a goal I wasn’t passing fast enough and on top of it all I scored an own goal so I was feeling down and discouraged but I gave it my all not leading to a win but I tried and that made me happy.
I’ve got a trial today for a team and my heart won’t stop and I know I have the ability but I just don’t wanna let anyone down including my friends family and the manager I want to make an impact but I doubt myself sometimes hopefully it all goes well
Just remember that even if you don't make it today, there's always another chance. Good luck, just go out there and be you. Do your thing, that's how you got to the trial! /Jay
This just an opportunity that you need to combine with your responsibility. Be responsible before waiting for an apportunity that's all you need. Fuck everyone it all about you, don't think about any one else but you because it's your responsibility to grab this opportunity. Mental man, than your heart. May the strength be with you🫶💪
Usually when I have older people in my team I don't do much, but if everyone in my team is younger than me and even though the opponents are better and more experienced, I end up scoring more maybe coz I am afraid of making mistakes and getting shout at. But great video as always.
I've learnt a lot from this channel and I would like to add some advice When u don't have confidence in the field use the basics like 2 or 3 touch football for few minutes so that u can be able to read the game and it increases awareness before taking risks
This helped me so much, thank you I thought I was the worst player ever and after seeing this I went from just standing around the entire match to nutmegs, headers and hat-tricks
Pros make mistakes too, continue to work hard and focus only on the next training session, or match. Don't let yourself hang in the past. Best of luck!
I have a little less than a year to practice and train for football. I plan on making varsity and at the minimum, jv. I accept my mistakes when I make them when I train but inside I feel like sh**. Your videos are helping me avoid that
I’m about to play in a league this week, i was scared if I was gonna make a mistake while defending, but this video gave me a lesson, thank you unisport
Thanks a lot. Am one that makes lots of mistakes will going for football training, I play with confidence while I play at home with friends, but can't just put up the same performance when I go for training. With this advise I'll try and see how I can correct my mistakes. Thanks a lot.
I used to be like that for a long time, but now I don’t even think about my mistakes. I just realise what I did wrong and improve on it. And I always say sorry to my teammates if it’s my bad.
I'm very scared of doing mistake.so i try to play safe But by doing that i don't feel like myself so i start to stress out and do bad but i will try my best to change.
Thank you for these videos. I'm going through a rough patch right now, and it's making me feel depressed 😔. I used to be a starter, but I made some mistakes. Now, I only get 30 to 20 minutes a game. I've really lost my confidence, and I find myself rushing without thinking or scanning enough. Can you make a video about this in the future? Thanks in advance.
I was to be so afraid of making mistakes for years and that always made me perform horribly but what held me is getting in to the zone before games. For those who need help, research about 'The state of the flow zone' & do alot of mental training (visualization, meditation). You'll definitely thank me later
3:00 never thought I would see my favourite club ( St Johnstone ) in one of these videos, I saw that moment happen with my own eyes, and will probably never forget it 😂
Hey man I love being a defender, but I’m quite a small build, please ✨enlighten✨ me on how to get better, I’m tired of strikers that are bigger than me hustle me off the ball. That’s my job >:O
I'm very low on confidence. My team has used me in many different positions over the past 3 years, CB, LB, RB, CDM, CAM, RW. I haven't been able to gain any momentum in any position. Whenever I get the ball I choose the safest option and try not to make a mistake. I haven't managed to score a goal all season and only have a handful of assists to my name. How do I get my confidence back????
Firstly Find the position that you want to play and learn how to play it well, forget about where anyone else wants you to play. Secondly train hard and get comfortable with the ball and don't be afraid to make mistakes, confidence comes from knowing that you've done your work in training and in games it's time to show that.
ask your coach for another chance keep on practicing the moment that the mistake happened in my academy i'm younger than everybody in my age group because i got promoted i'm making mistakes right now sometimes i cant make it to training but it doesn't matter just be patient keep on training be the most hard working and your coach will see that and give you another chance
Bro when i play in my home i am a master but when i play in school football my team mates don't pass tge ball to me but when i get the ball i lose it so fast.what do i do?
They're probably not passing because they think you'll lose the ball but don't stop asking for the ball. Train how to not lose the ball and practice against good opponents. Training alone won't help in this regard.
I make silly mistakes, today i took the ball off the defender and got tackled, another one, i received the ball and i cut it back and got tackled, and another one was the ball was in the air i tried controlling it and it went off my shin and it went for a goalkick. I doubt my self am i even going to make it?
for my academy (i'm a striker) i play for u15 im 13 were training for pre-season what can i do to improve my confidence and what can i do to up my game because im better then a lot of players but what can i do to up my game so i can be the best striker because the striker we have right now were basically the same but what can i do to be the best because we play with 2 strikers what can i do to be number one
For a striker confidence comes from goals, forget about the chances you miss and be hungry to score the next one. Put yourself in a good position where you are easy to pass to and from where you can score easily. This will help you to get the ball more and give you more opportunities to score.
I wanted to know if it was possible or impossible to dribble and eliminate my opponent in 1v1 if I am not fast and he is faster than me? Because I really have a hard time when I play with guys aged 18 or 19 and I'm 14, well, almost 15, but hey, ps: I play winger with the big guys, so if it's possible to help answer, In fact he waits for me to go to one side and even if I fake it, well he doesn't fall and as soon as I go left or right, he manages to follow me
Another thing, don't be the player who just yells at their teammates for making mistakes. Instead acknowledge that they made a mistake and help them get better, as well as letting them know that these things happen and that it's not because they're a bad player. I would find that the yelling only made me perform and feel even worse. Save the yelling for the ref ;) jk.

The one thing that helps me best is thinking that no one will remember my mistakes as long as I have enough great actions in a game
Usually when I have older people in my team I don't do much, but if everyone in my team is younger than me and even though the opponents are better and more experienced, I end up scoring more maybe coz I am afraid of making mistakes and getting shout at. But great video as always.

Gotta be CLEAN with your feints and skills mainly
You can also just pass a lot at the start and then just fake and dribble all of a sudden
Iniesta was relatively slow and he just floated past defenders.
it is im 13 playing with guys that are 15, 17 and i still beat them in 1v1s just lure them in and wait for the right moment to go pass them
