it not just about mistakes, its also being in a team that is not supportive and hounds you for making mistakes. Rather than being comfortable and playing with confidence, you are rather thinking of not making a mistake all the time to not let down your team mates or coach.
@@SamMartinPeakPerformance pretty sure he said the opposite of that lol, think he meant that certain players will work harder on mistakes if they are hounded for it
bloody hell man i dont want to say anything else but just "Thank you!!" seriously in the last 1-2 months you helped me so much to improve mental fitness i have gotten way stronger than before so just thank you sam
Hey Sam, love the videos I play goalkeeper at very high academy level and your videos have helped me heaps. I was sent off today in the second minute for denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity and I felt I let my team down. We ended up winning 2:1 but I will miss out on next match and I haven't found anything online about how to mentally comeback from a red card. If you where ever running out of video ideas, coming back from suspension as opposed to injury may be a good idea as I have found the mental side is completely different between the two.
Sorry to hear Manu - but glad your team dug deep to get the win! 💪Hope the experience gives you time to reflect on the red card and learn from it. I'll keep that in mind for future videos - thanks for the recommendation!
Thought this was really good thanks. Didn't really say anything I hadn't heard before, but does a great job of stitching it all together into a process and talking about the extreme cases and how to respond. Would love it if my U12 players would watch this
really liked this video. very high quality, very charismatic presentation. wouda loved more examples like Kobe's scandal and more problems we'd see day to day :)
hey mate. I have seen a lot of your videos on my recommended recently and have really enjoyed sitting through, watching and taking in everything you say in them. To be honest, I have only just realised your subscriber amount and was shocked. The quality of your content is incredible and extremely detailed and I just want to say keep it up and you will grow quickly and be a huge youtuber before you know it. Keep up the good work!
Haaland is a beast. He will probably break the 60 goal per season barrier set by roanldo and messi. Great video though. Even though youre not getting the views you deserve..keep grinding😁
Love the videos, can’t believe you only have 13k subscribers cuz you’re content is on the quality and quantity level of a million subscriber channel, keep putting in the work! 👍
What I've learned is that making mistakes is one of the most important parts to better yourself, and we're all humans so we all will make mistakes anyway.
I saw some of your videos. And those made me reflect. The kind of content useful for an amateur athlete like me. A lot of thoughts and preparation to produce the content. Wish you more subscribers and views. More people need to see these videos.
Mistakes and failure are part of the process towards achieving your dream .if you dont try you will never fail and will learn notihig so its important to make mistakes and fail if you want to achive your goal.
Thanks man - appreciate it. Sadly at the mo I don't have the resources to create those. Hopefully RUclips can automatically produce them sometime soon!

Very true - coaches need to take more responsibility in creating a culture where mistakes are accepted and players aren’t hounded for it
Also, players can always leave if they're being treated that way, and find a better team that embraces learning from mistakes.
@@jvb5590but most of the time they think it's normal and don't have enough confidence to say "enough is enough !!"

Correction - since filming, Haaland has played another game that he didn't score in. Total games not scored in is now 18 / 49
