Hi Toni...my next project will be this leather folding backpack. Where can I buy exactly this leather that you use in your video tutorial ? Thx for your response and best greetings from Switzerland
Hi Tony, have you tried waxed canvas & leather combination for bags? Never seen a video on it by you...hope you would do a project with waxed canvas, love to see the result! :D
Make One! I started my first leather project with a small screwdriver or nail to punch holes (not ideal, but punches aren't that hard to come by) and scissors to cut out the pieces. It's really easy to follow the patterns and this bag took me less than a week (weekend and after hours)
Bunun içine de astar dikilmemiş. Kusursuz görünüyor olabilir, modeli harika ama şu içine astar dikme olayı keşke olsa... Kusur aradığım düşünülmesin lütfen ! Bu benim görmeye alışkın olduğum gözlerimin aradığı bi detay. Yoksa çantanın güzelliğine diyecek lafım yok. Elinize sağlık...
Hey I remember you cursed :-) the lazer cutting machine by saying it is evil, but here I see the larger patterns are cut with the lazer cutting machine, or I am wrong? Noooo, can't be, I am sure! That's NOT problem at all for me, I just recalled what you had said earlier and you looked funny, and remember you said you had one. Thank you for the tutorial!
You didn't show clear which order you stitched the panel on in, as you did the strip between the "D" rings then it was complete. Did you do the little strip below the upper "D" rings before going around the outside?
Ah now that I rewatch before build I see, at 18:52 you are finishing up the long stitch between the "D" rings, then at 18:54 the panel is done. I assume, first the upper "D" rings, then the stitch across top of pocket, then perimeter.
Hi, great tutorial. I would like to ask you how the tools for the rounded corners are called in Ebay, as I find only the tools for leather belts or straps, but not for rounding corners.
There's a free program that CAD based called Seamly2D that will do the same thing for you. It's free across Windows, MacOS, Linux. You'll still need to take time to learn it though. It's literally a CAD program that's been altered for sewing.
Как же приятно наблюдать за работай МАСТЕРА!
Man, I love this backpack! I use mine all the time
Thanks again Tony :D
please share your edge dying technique. I really like your fazed smokey edges.
You make some very interesting and unusual leather items. I made your owl bag recently and it turned out brilliantly.
i absolutely love it, but think the buckles on the straps should be the other way up maybe
how difficult would it be to scale this thing up a bit? If I were to print it at, say 125% would it screw up the proportions?
Muchas gracias por compartir tus conocimientos. Realmente lo valoro. Te saludo desde Cartago Costa Rica.
How do you get such soft veg tan? Most of what I get is pretty stiff
Very Beautiful!!! Thanks!!!

Do the plans/patterns come with a detailed parts list for the buckles, clasps, D rings, etc?
They are on the etsy listing under details.

yes? i dunno. it looks pretty simple from here, just fold the little strap underneath and stitch it in place

Nice job.
P.s: Music choice does not fit the the work you perform. I suggest you go with royalty free appropriate ones that are not RnB and such...
Плохая музыка!
Perfect is annoying
