In SC we have snapping turtles and gar, but not like that. Everything thing is bigger in Texas. Also, when the turtles stop bitting, the fishing slows down. Thanks for video.
Heck yea I've been getting on to em like crazy , still gonna be fishing for em going in to December they're gonna stay eating in the spots I go to "gar season" doesn't exist they just slow down a bit 🔥🐊 good luck out there and nice video
From my own experience needle nose gar fishing they were always the most active when it was always the hottest part of the day, hope you had a good Thanksgiving❤️ went carp fishing for mine got a 25 and a 31 pounder
@@BitesandStrikesFishing I've also found that they like it when the water is nice and slow and stagnant I believe it's because they like it when it's super hot because not only does it warm them up but it also causes the water to lose its oxygen content which makes the other fish they like to eat sluggish. And since they can breathe air it gives them the advantage, thank you ❤️
So good to see you and Dat out again. You two make great content. Funny you are the one who got him hooked on gar.
We make a good pair 😂

Thanks for video.
Glad you enjoyed it. The turtles can be relentless here when the fish slow down.
Now it's time for the good ol' carp fishing 😂
It sure is!
Love your videos man
Appreciate that!
On a side note... "Chasing Monsters" is a fantastic fishing show on Hulu and Prime! Cyril Chauquet is super crazy about fishing lol!
I’ll have to check it out.
Excellent video senor!
Appreciate you watching!

Good luck! They still bite but is at a much slower rate for sure.
I like seeing you and exponentially evening
I was wondering why you use floats
I use them mostly to see where the line is. Occasionally to suspend a bait when the current is low

The gar sure do love the hot parts of summer. That’s when they are most active. Congrats on the carps. Those are some good size fish!
