I may have to consider actually getting into the games here for clock purposes. I could still stop the clock and supersim a kick. And I wouldn't mind just coach suggesting on D and trying to minimize my impact.
@@MrHurriicaneLP PLEASE do this. I know there's a certain degree of authenticity that you want to maintain with the way you operate these series', but as long as you're not usering players to gain an advantage you absolutely should be trying to fix the functions of the game to a level of realism to match that of the intention of the series. But regardless of whether or not you do that, fixing the clock situation and logic would be a no-brainer as far as i'm concerned, and I think i can speak for a lot of people who watch this series that nobody would have a problem with you taking control in 2 minute drills so every game isn't a bears on thanksgiving scenario.
@MrHurriicaneLP you can also go into the settings and turn on the coach mode that allows you to choose the plays but once you snap the ball the AI takes over and makes the decisions.

i think having Walker inside isnt as great as yoou think it is. He can be versatile irl like some 3 tech on passing downs but being a 3 tech on first thru 3rd down bc they consider nickel a 3rd down defense limits the entire defenses upside and Walker being more power oriented means hes matching up more often with players that have a power skill set on OL vs more finesse at the edge
I run a sim based franchise just like this, and I've had a lot of success with player rotations. Turn off progress fatigue, then set the fatigue slider to 85-90. Finally, set auto subs around 80 out 84 in. Hope this can help.
I don't think its worth extending Easley. He's good but not great, and you could save the money to attack a more valuable position like OL and maybe draft someone or trust Wilder. Might be worth looking at trading him and maybe even arrington if he doesnt want to resign, if the season is looking bad
@@MrHurriicaneLPI sometimes hate watching my own slow sims because of that stuff. The decision making in overtime isn’t better. The team just needs a field goal to win and are inside the red zone with under a minute left. CPU: “hmmm I think I’m going to pass the ball some more” 🙄
What is great about this games development system is the dev trait upgrades. I drafted a QB in my Saints franchise and he had normal dev. After 2.5 years he was up to X Factor. Really made me fall in love with the player and not care too much about what the dev is at time of drafting.
I would trade Arrington at the deadline. He doesn't want to comeback. Give you a chance to develop Mccaffery and Tuck. Plus you could get a WR early in the draft. Or a much cheaper free agent in the offseason. Arrington has to too much prima donna in him too.
If you make a defensive playbook, only use the defensive formations from that original playbook or it gets wonky in slow sim. I find the Bengals playbook is nice since it has 4-3 with a 3-4 formation in it.
Obviously the young secondary needs a long look, but it almost felt like, at least early on, like our defense/team in general had the same issue the mid 90's oilers had, that being that our one dimensional offense led to a lot of 3 and outs, and a lot of our defense being stranded on the field which led to them giving up a lot of big plays. hopefully with the change at center and our rushing attack improving it changes.
I know it’s unrealistic for the nfl, but the baseball fan in me is itching for platooning o line based on what you need. Guys like swain and siezckowski are such good pass blockers and bigby was a legit upgrade as a run blocker
funny madden ai moment around 13:47 - the bears traded etienne for logan wilson and a 7th round pick, and then immediately turned around and released wilson. that's just solid gming right there.
As a Bears fan, that Bears offense was very realistic to real life. And that's in spite of how far into this you are. So many screens and short passes...
Was not expecting these to be the Jags problems going into to this year! Defence was our clear strength on the backs of the d line but something has changed! Now the running which was the X factor of the offence has been nonexistent
I think we should look to trade Campbell at the deadline, let Billups play full time if we arent true contenders. I'd at least see what offers we get for Hines-Allen, since we could theoretically kick Walker to the outside on pass rush downs and have Moore/Vea rush to the inside once Moore is healthy again.
You should play walker full time at DT if Moore is out. Should be able to keep up the current production. Could also see an uptick in his slow start back.
How is the engine not smart enough to spike the ball with 2 seconds left down 1 You should take over these close games in the last 10 seconds to prevent the ai from screwing itself. Dont do any actual plays but call the timeouts correctly, spike the ball, call for a field goal, etc.
The TD to BTJr against the Cowboys was pretty cool. Maybe adjust the o playbook to run 1st and short & medium PA? And nerf injuries by a notch, I think you’re just hurting yourself. And Chuck!
An adjust that might help a little is removing match coverages from the playbook ai will play it and entire zones are left exposed it’s like there aren’t real match rules so I hope this helps

That Texans game was lost because we decided to not use our power back on 3 & 1. It would've not have given Houston time to score.

As a cowboys fan its nice seeing our only good player (aubrey) do good! im in pain...
That defense is simulating calling cover 2 invert over and over again.
Finally catching a livestrem
He just hit a 62 yarder it makes sense to me to kick the shorter FG and make it a TD + 2pt
Also, at least put a content warning for the hit at 23:40! Such a violent hit deserves a warning
I think you may have to adjust the QB accuracy sliders at least for the CPU.
Football teams should be built inside/out, the trenches are where games are won and lost. Youve spent a lot of draft capital on Cbs and Wrs
Let’s go W Saturday🎉
Maybe trade Easley. He’s hurt too much and Strange is doing a fine job
