    Cycled through a few before landing on 65L Co-Op brand . Aside from fitting comfortably, the access to the bottom via zipper is a key feature for me too.

    I’m with you, Nick. I use the 50l and the AG system is unbelievable. In fact, I picked up an Osprey 40AG last year to use for 2-3 day trips. So good.

    I have that same version of the 65AG (in orange) - and agree that the side pockets are a PIA. I've found that pulling straight up on the zipper leash while zipping helps a bit. Besides the issues that you mentioned that you disliked... I have to add to that list the internal top compression strap. It's tough to really cinch things down with that type of design. Good review. שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם

    I use a Gregory DEVA 70, which weighs 4.5 as well. I prefer the heavier pack for long life and durabilit. There are times i think about something lighter but that passes very quickly. I would prefer getting reid of then CPAP which I got down to 4.5 as well, so i start off with 9 lbs until I get ris if the CPAP😊

    Can the detachable brain be used as a sort of day pack or sling?

    • @PackAndSoul
      @PackAndSoul  3 месяца назад

      good question. It can definitely be used, but the straps aren't great for a day pack. A sling would work well, or as just a separate bag for whatever you needed.

    I have the 55L Osprey and love it. Do you carry bear spray?

    • @PackAndSoul
      @PackAndSoul  Год назад

      Wanna try the 55L, think that may be my next pack! I don’t carry bear spray, though I’ve thought about it. Every time I’ve seen a bear, then end up running right away… not to say that’ll always be the case Do you carry?

      @@PackAndSoul I have on some less traveled trails but I need to pack less. My 55 can carry all I need and then some but it’s tight. So I probably need to lose some stuff.

  • @reyhanavivi594

    Awesome vid man! I’m wondering tho whether 65L or 50L is the better option. I need to pack in some camera gears, but at times I just feel like traveling lighter. My question is, if I get the 65L will it have an awkward shape when I don’t fill it to its max? Cheers!

    • @PackAndSoul
      @PackAndSoul  11 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching! It's a good question, my hunch is with camera gear, the 65 will be better. It won't have a weird shape if you don't fill it, it holds shape pretty well. But honestly, if you can fit it in the 50, then hell yeah go for that. I'm curious to see what you end up with, cause I'd like to get a 50 sometime soon too, and see if it'll work for me. Maybe try the 50 out for a week or two and exchange it if it doesn't fit? Keep in touch!

    • @reyhanavivi594
      @reyhanavivi594 11 месяцев назад

      @@PackAndSoul I too am more inclined to the 50 as well, I think it’ll suit me better since I’m 170cm / 65kg. But unfortunately we don’t have the “try-out and exchange” policy here in my country, so I’ll have to decide early on haha. Why do you prefer the 50?

    • @PackAndSoul
      @PackAndSoul  11 месяцев назад

      @@reyhanavivi594 where are you from? I haven’t tried long distance hiking with a 50L so I honestly can’t recommend it. I just think that if you can fit your gear in there, the smaller/lighter the pack, the better. BUT I still love my 65, with my camera gear, I just don’t think a 50 would cut it at the moment. Maybe down the line if I get more expensive / smaller gear it would.
