The Backyard and Back Gate Savior This Mower has saved me plenty of days at work from having to Push Mow the whole “Big” Backyard Thanks Gravely a 32 would be great also!
I have this mower with a mulch kit. Great for getting in small gates. The 7" tires on it do tend to rut on some yards. I changed them out to 10" tires and it seemed to work better however, I lost my ability to get in some gates with the 10" tires. The cost of this Gravely was 5799.00 when I got mine.
Its gotta be nice being able to get into nearly every backyard. It may be just the video, but it looked like it had a lot of grass spray from the discharge chute. Is the debri large? Or is it mulched so fine its not noticable?
I'm thinking of purchasing this mower and know that a lot of guys have changed the tires to Carlisle 20x10x10 turf tires. Has anyone tried the same size all-terrain tires to see if it would grip any better on hillsides?
How many hours on your gravely mower right now? And how is it holding up!? I have been shopping around and this is a mower I am definitely considering buying so I am interested to hear your feedback!!?
I have 145hrs. No problems. The only quirk is sometimes the levers don't stay in neutral and this makes it not start. This isn't a problem it's just a safety feature to prevent damaging the starter.
You know, they say to do that, but in 25 years in the business and dozens of mowers, I had just one PTO go out, and it was pretty old at the time. Probably saved hundreds of hours over the years just popping it on and off. And throttle cables screw up more when you're using them constantly.
I have a Gravely mini zt that Ivve had for 14 years without any problems I te last couple years Iv'e been gettig a bucking when i start up is there a way to fix it ? Email me at rdsvideo3@yahoo.com
Yes it does. Just as long as the ground is even and there is room to maneuver so you can get the machine straight enough, then it will fit. You can fit through about a 35.5'' opening. This machine is very heavy and I had trouble with the narrow tires tearing up the turf and rutting, so I put wider tires on. Gives it a better ride. I need about 36.5'' to fit through
I just got the same mower a couple of months ago. Well worth the $$. I've been having the same problems with the rutting too. What size tires did you put on?

The toughest mower of its size and width anywhere. The ultimate gate-buster too!
That backyard was almost too small for that mower. I have the same one...love it
I have a zt xl 42. I would recommend this mower to anyone who is looking to buy a new mower. gravely builds one hell of a machine!

What's the fuel capacity on it and how long of runtime do you get per tank?

what is the retail price for that gravely mower
Some day when zero turns can levitate a 36” gate won’t be a barrier.
Es grado comercial esa máquina?
What's the smallest width gate can you fit through?
in stock configuration at 36" gate is the smallest assuming the ground is level.

do you wish you had gone for a stander or walk behind? do you wish you had gotten a larger zero turn?
Probably would have been better if I got a 30" turf master and 52" Stander.
A 32" Stander would be better if they made one with an adjustable deck.
It is what it is..... you cant always use the same mower on every yard.
You should lower your throttle rpm before turning off your PTO.. :)

does this fit easily through fence gate?

+Sweettaper10 20x10-10 Carlisle turf master tires. They rub the gas tank supports, so you have to do some grinding.
+Sweettaper10 I'm still on the fence with this mower. I think it's a bit too small of a deck. It's good to have on big back yards though.
K, thanks. This machine is a beast. I call it my speed buggy.
SKIPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a Florida mower. Because in most states it can't handle the hills. Too narrow.
Thank you!
