Awesome job! I'm maybe 75% done with my CPS-2 Jasen's Customs build but still need to put in the fan and solder the buttons in, plus figure out how I want to do the LCD screen. Only difference is I don't have the DigitalAV since I play through an old Trinitron CRT, but it does look like a very nice option to have.
What size screws did you use to attach the fan? And did you have to do any rewiring to attach it to the board?

I don't remember the size screws. I didn't have to do any special wiring for the fan.

Great video, thanks for sharing! I ordered a CPS2 case too and received it a few weeks ago. But I just picked up my first CPS2 kit, Marvel vs Capcom, today.
Would you mind posting links to the extra parts you ordered? Stuff like the HDMI extender, HDMI fitment piece and case buttons?
Or was that all the same stuff Jacsen pinned in his discord?

Those are from Jasen's pinned links in his discord. I ordered exactly what he suggested.

For the ABC buttons how did you wire the 3 grounds? Your video shows you wire a ground to just the C button. Did you condense the three grounds off the front panel buttons to a single ground wire you put on the C button on the board?

Yes, all ground wires are wired into 1 wire in order to condense the amount of wires and soldering I had to do.

Where do you buy those small buttons? I am trying to find which store online that sell those buttons

You'd figure as old as darksoft is that someone would have simplified the design so it isn't so ridiculously expensive.

It's pretty niche. Not something you mass produce.

@@vodkagobalsky Ya I get the production limits but I was just specifically referring to the outdated components. If someone would go into it and scale it back a bit it would be about 200 bucks cheaper now.
