It's cheap, fast but Is it good? And do you have any cheap other lens you found that is good? (or suggest me to review?)
looks good to me. for $100
I mainly got this for video in low or extreme low light setting and in doors. I currently have a 50mm lens with minimum of 4f and always had a hard time shooting at night. Hopefully this will be useful in that for my budget.

I am still hesitating to post this, but think i will do now.
i received my copy of the lens for MFT connector, and with the pretty lens hood and more in the box. The lens impressed me quite a bit with its build quality, handling and image results, especially for the price point.
However my copy has an severe drawback - i cannot focus to infinity. Maximum object distance i can get is about 1.5m. So i cannot get full body shots, which i would have wished for. At first i thought the lens was limited because of touching the camera contacts, but curently i think it is another problem inside the lens. So for now seems i wont be using it a lot.
Wtf is up with people disliking your videos? Must be Sony shooters

Hi there no it's not a full frame lens
The field curvature is more here I think. I have Nikon 50mm with zero distortion. Did you get tshirt from Pergear?

I hope per gear makes a 17mm lens.
You never know. they are releasing lenses faster than I can review them so i wouldn't be surprised if a 17mm is coming soon! (Pergear are you reading this? )
Mine came with the hood, Mu-43 mount
Will this lens work on an f mount film camera?
no it doesn't. it is a mirrorless lens so flange distance is not suitable (too short) for DSLR camreas
i bought 25mmf1.8 from amazon and it did come with hood.

Had the pergear 35 1.2 on my Z50 and was pretty disappointed of the built quality. VERY loose fit on the body. IQ was too soft for me at f1.2 even for that price. All in all I wouldn't recommend it.
IQ seems ok to me even at f/1.2 (as you can see in my test sample) but i do find with the short focus throw and shallow DOF does make it hard to nail the focus! But very loose fit on your Z body doesn't sound good. Do you mean there is a bit of play even after the lens is mounted?
@@TheRealRichardWong exactly. Even in its final position you move the lens a little bit.
That's not good. And that may also cause the softness you are seeing if the lens is not locked solidly into the camera as well. My m43 version locks onto the camera quite nicely though, I would be interested to hear other users and see if they have the same issue as you... It could be a manufacturing variance issue or design issue
I don´t get it:
Every lens review says: ...fully open it is not exactly sharp but stopping down to F 4.0 you get really good sharpness."
So why making a video?
Maybe I am alone with this on planet - but I buy lenses to use the mostly fully wide open. Otherwise I purchase the lower cost F 4 or go 5.6 where almost every lens is quite sharp, when it is a prime.
One tip, and I hate this ruined video a bit for me. Your mic level is too low at start, and when intro starts it sounds twice as loud as rest of the video. Rest is good.
