If you ranked the 100 funniest things ever said on radio, clips from RSK on xfm would be all 100 of them. Imagine if you were driving, listening to this live, and you heard Karl say "it was like a ripped tennis ball"... I would've crashed.
Honestly, I don’t think so. I’d pit maybe 10-15 moments from the show in top 100, and 2-3 in the top 10. Anthony Cumia, Louis CK, Jim Morton, Patrice O Neal, Bob Kelly, Colin Quinn and Jay Mohr are sickeningly funny on radio. Heck, Ricky was funnier on opie & Anthony than on this show. What made this show excellent was Karl.
@@jbri1 Ratings-wise they demolished the Ricky Gervais show in both terrestrial, global and satelite numbers. The only place the Ricky Gervais show really did very well was in podcast downloads and in the HBO syndication. but you're entitled to your idiotic opinion.
The horse in the house is still the quintessential Karl moment for me. Just says it in passing like it's nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely get why it's Steve's favourite moment.
These guys get me through so many drab and depressing days. I even bring my mobile into the garden with my coffee to listem to them. Also first thing in the morning.
Karl is always all over the place regarding animals. Sometimes he's ridiculously empathetic to some insect, imagining it thinks like a person, other times he's like, "what is so bright about them" or "let's get rid of it". Or the perfect example is in this episode. Ricky says a Bonobo is the smartest monkey (supposedly), Karl who created "Monkey News" (at least the content), where monkeys behave like cartoons and little people, wonders if a Bonobo could do anything that makes them comparable to a human. All over the place.
Rick and Steve keep complaining over the numer of holidays or days off Karl takes. Considering the shite those two put him through, he deserves them! Truth be told, if I had to put up with them, I'd ask for twice as many days off!
Loved how Carl goes on about rough thieving ppl on his estate, yet his dad is used to be massive thief himself he is a pure fcking moron but I still love him for some reason 😂😮😅
I'm pretty sure that guy with the A-level is wrong. The more trials you have, the closer the probability of some event happening gets to 1. So if you have infinite trials, the probability is 1, so it happens
@@frusciantesplectrum7980there is no point where consciousness can perceive the fact that an infinite amount of time has passed because infinity never passes it goes on for ever and ever, therefore you can never say it hasn't worked because an infinite amount of time would not have passed. Wow, a video where you can actually hear Karl without having to boost the volume every time he talks.
And then Ricky's laugh tears your ears in two.
I don’t think he had a mic of his own in the early days.
@@BoutYoungAnnaLeeyea he did. He was actually in a separate booth or sat opposite them. He just was shy
I was in physical pain laughing at the horse in the house story, a comedy writer couldn't come up with something as genius as that
where did they get a horse Karl?
@@conorkennedy3304saloon around the corner...😂
Steve’s reaction to “it’s like a ripped tennis ball” is pretty amazing
pork chop tumor probably the best of all time. i was breathless when i first heard that.
its the way he doubles down after saying it that gets me

That's what makes him so .. interesting. There is no logic to his thinking
@@EddieKMno karl discovered that if you open your mouth & talk, words come out !! Lol 😂
It’s so confusing.. He’s alright with monkeys starting businesses or being photographers or having PhD’s.. But writing Shakespeare? No way
Ripped Tennis ball 😂😂😂 Aunty nora. Goodness
Auntie* ;)
Xfm 1s are so much better than the cartoon 1s
Thanks for feeding my Karl addiction!
And mine!! I listen to these podcasts a lor...inc going to sleep & any boring moments during the day....😂
1:06:18 this will never cease to shock me. Karl's dad is SUCH a little scoundrel. Manc thief.
A woman, who had a baby, that had a baby. 😂
'A baby that had a baby' is such a great, memorable comment. It just sounds almost musical.
Thank you for uploading
Loved this
53:33 - Steve more freaky than some of the freaks in the Movie, = Best bit.
Brilliant!
The infinite typewriters thing has me crying every time. And the guy that writes in is wrong probability reaches 1.
Dave Pratt he’s right, as the probability of the monkey typing Shakespeare correct each attempt is not 1, so you can’t be certain it will ever happen
@@charliegraves2356 but given an infinite amount of time, the probability of it happening is 1

Ricky Wheeler it depends on what time you was making that statement as time needs consciousness to perceive it
