Hola hice el proyecto tal cual con respecto al software pues es más sencillo que con el Universal GCode sender y me funcionó los motores se mueven al unisono ahora quiero aprender más sobre la configuración del software para manejarlo bien todo y sacarle el máximo provecho gracias por el vídeo. :-)

Some time ago I was considering making a similar device but I really don't have the free time to complete in a reasonable time frame. Clearly a lot of work went in.
Many who are not accustomed building may underestimate what they see because you make it seem so simple.

Good and cool project! Add an SD card and a G-code reader to the Arduino (also, for select file will need display and controls). Then add a battery and the device will become self-contained, independent of the computer.
It would also be nice to redesign the mechanism of the pen. The option suggested in the video is too difficult to replace the ink.

Just go to ebay and order lot of sensors, motors, displays and then you just start with one of them. When you know how to use what you gought then you can make everything.
I would say that being able to have a solid understanding of programming arduino, raspberry pi, or other micro controllers (usually C/C++) is the most important, followed by learning basic circuit theory and the different types of transistors and what they do. For most basic things that should be enough.
When you get into more advanced projects, things like real-time capability and power efficiency become more important.
take some semi-big project like 3d printer/cnc router r something similar and try to make it by searching hw is it made and see some videos,thats what i do.

You could make more accurate fancy replica/mould objects and other stuffs2) It is probably the basis of 3d printing as this one build is only stepping x and y axis

just reverse the direction of the x stepper and you wont have to mirror the images

if you reverse the stepper
you get a correct copy out
it has nothing to do with the reading direction
the programming should not change
it is only the hardware that gets changed

Excuse me, I did everything right by training, I tested the motors and installed it on the board.
The sero-motor is healthy
But the one who wants to do it does not move left and right.
The seromuter does not move. The problem is where I tested the 12 volt adapter 1 amps and 5 volts of 2 amps. Both of these would result.

did you give any arduino code uploading as well for this project ? , did you included GRBL library. my dvd motors didn't responding to commands fro pc program only servo motor at pen moves. where could be the problem?

i made this project 5V 2A given to CNC motor shield board successfully connected with PC software after update but i have few problems
(01) thread of pen broken every time i powered this unit with PC connection (servo rotate too much at start)
(02) during the drawing of sample picture servo of the pen only works well X & Y axis motors from DVD drives are not working and Y axis motor also heated up during drawing is progressing by PC
i checked both dvd motors they works well motor connections to CNC board done as your guidence
please be kind enough to sort out this problem, thanks.
