Beautiful, so many old cars you see have lovely paintwork but the interior and under bonnet lets most of them down. The way he was talking I wonder of Granddad will be bidding on it for himself
I am currently restoring a 1934 Rover 14HP sports saloon. Same body with 14HP 6cyl engine. The car has only done 15K mileage. Two tone Black over Grey/Green with Blue interior.
I've always had a soft spot for a rover. I had a couple of P6 and almost gave them away. But this one is a bit special and would be great to see in my garage.
Another great exsample of an old survivor ! Its proven over and over again , if you pamper a Rover it can outlast all other brands . This is called Quality . Rovers were designed and built by the highest standards and with the best materials . So my lovely 75 is entering adolesence now , with its 22 years ! I want to keep it alive as long as possible and these old beauty's give me confidence !
I think this one will Dan.The P2 in the last auction ( not a sporting version ) went to around £19K on the hammer.Still a lot of money but cheap in comparison with a modern ' fast Ford ', just shows the relative ' worthlessness ' of money today , there is no comparison with what is making strong money today ( cars meant to last just a few years ) with the intrinsic superb quality in materials that made this lovely Rover neally 90 years ago, but that is the way it is, nothing you can do about it as Derek says..

Wow beautiful car thanks for sharing 👍.
Seeing that in those days it was a rarity to have a BOOT, it would have been interesting to have seen it!
How would it do in traffic? That is better than Riley 1.5L etc.
Very nice. I bet it goes for not alot of money.
