You have now set an expectation. If you ever do another one of these cars we are all expecting to be left with tears in our eyes and warm fuzzy feelings. It has been amazing watching the journey of Kevin and Mook. You two never fail to warm my heart. Thanks for all of the great moments throughout and many more. I also want to say that the hose clamp ring is just a genius perfect idea for the 2 of you. I started watching this channel for the car revivals and amazing content. But a big part of why this channel is so huge is the huge hearts of the people we see on camera. Thank you for being willing to share your lives with all of us
Congrats to Kevin and Mook. As a veteran of 42 years of marriage, I think you found the perfect partners. That hose clamp will be a cherished memory. Do not lose that thing.
Wow!!!! I love Dads knowledge of all the differences in the paint!!! A true master of his craft!!!! Anybody that aspires to be a detailer should really take heed to what this gentleman is showing all of us as to how to read a car. Not just the way it looks, but what it's been through. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I am blown away.!!!!!!! If you could see me I am bowing with respect!! Thank you! It was bitchen!!!!
I seriously teared up. Congrats to you two! Seeing you two interact over the course of a couple years on this channel has been a highlight. Just love each other, through the bad times and the good times and always pass the wrench and coffee to your spouse when needed. Bless you two.
I’d like to say two things about this video: 1. Thanks to dad for sharing his knowledge with the world! And 2. Congratulation to you both, Kevin and Mook, on your engagement.
Congratulations you guys! I have been watching you two for years now. I knew the minute Mook sat in the drivers seat of this cutlass, it was over. She fell in love like so many of us do. You guys have a great thing going! Please hold on to each other. Hold on to your father as long as you can, he is an absolute treasure. Hold on to your wonderful friends as well. Again, congrats and i hope to meet you guys some day.
Congratulations on the engagement. Happy faces on you both when you're together says it all..perfect match! Also, it is so satisfying watching your Father "ply his trade". He makes VERY difficult work look so easy. Years of experience and hard work show through.
It'll be 6 years tomorrow since I lost my dad to cancer and kidney disease. The relationship you have with your pops has me reminiscing. Love you guys. Keep doing what you're doing
CONGRATS YOU GUYS!!!! Have been watching you both forever it seems and I’m so happy and thankful you guys are getting married. The content has been amazing and can’t wait to see where life takes you guys.

People like you and your dad are passing down the torch of knowledge to people who might not otherwise get an opportunity to learn! Congratulations to the both of you! Plus great spot to propose! Your Old Man is an absolute legend, we have so many rich lessons to learn from people like your Dad....he seems like a great guy....congrats on your engagement guys, that's awesome.
Kevin I may have commented on a previous vlog about my father having been an auto body refinisher for decades from the early '60s to the early '90s. When I watch your father describe the paint work on this car I can't help but be taken back to my father's ability to diagnos a car's finish history. So I just want to thank you for bringing those memories back to the present. Also your father's willingness to teach and be taken away from his own retiring days to assist and be an integral aspect of this vlog is not unlike what my dad would have done for any of his three sons. This kind of father and son relationship is priceless and seems to be a thing that is uncommon today except maybe in the heartland of America or the barrios of big cities. He’s not reciting the rules or the steps in his head, he’ thinking about bacon, or nude girls, or beer… and his arms do what they need to do to perform the magic they do.
My biggest take away from this awesome Cutlass series is: If you're a car guy and you happen to find yourself a lady that closes a car door then re-opens it and closes it again just to hear the sound because she understands why it makes a difference, you best put a hose clamp on that ring finger quick smart coz there isn't many of these in the world! I love getting the tips and tricks from your dad on detailing and paint correction. Also I had a feeling as soon as you said you waited for more fall colors to take the car out, that you had something planned. I'm very happy for you guys! Thanks for sharing the big moment with us.
Your papa is awesome! He`s a very wise, young owl.I would literally spend hours, joyfully, listening to him. Lasers for eyes! I`m 54 this month and am just starting out looking after my vehicle. My dad's painted cars for over 3 decades, and I've helped him with a few restorations growing up. They were just some side-jobs, but he's got an old Chevy square body that he's been looking to reviving for himself for years now and it's time is coming soon! Wish us luck when the labor of love begins!

That was super interesting watching and listening to your Dad dealing with the paint. Dang, I thought they had already tied tied the knot. But I was never sure. Now we know.
JYD is the only channel I give a like to every video before I watch because I already know it’s gonna be a good one and I don’t wanna forget to give one 😅 lol. I’ve been a fan since the beginning.
Aw, congrats guys! I love watching your videos with my hubby, you remind us of us lol. I especially love the hobby lobby ring, WAY more value. 😜❤️ So happy for you both!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Those before and after shots are amazing. Also big congrats you two, may you have a beautiful life together!
That’s a beautiful car and well worth keeping and putting some money in it to repair the rust. Congratulations
Congratulations on the engagement! Love all the knowledge I get from your channel. You and mook have great chemistry and making wrenching fun.
You actually have the right stuff to do paint restorations, I’ve been buffing my paint with Meguiar’s Rubbing Compound and a microfiber cloth 😂
The olds looks amazing!!! But then the end, congratulations you two!!!
Having recently lost my partner of 30 years I’m so happy for you both and hope you spend the time together well. :)
