Why do Lotus put rear speakers in this tiny car, the thing is only about 6 inches away from the driver & passenger's ears at the back.
You have made the sound system in these vehicles a hundred times better that OEM.

I would rather stick with the stock subwoofer over a under seat sub

Underseat sub was still a lot better than OEM on this car. It’s not the best solution but it was the perfect solution for how the client wanted the car

Can this be done without any visible sub? 100% OEM look?

@@Stephenmarklevi yes we can do a system without a sub - a new sub won’t sit in the OEM location

If only I lived in the uk, and I was rich … lol
So bridge everything down to 6 channels. What’s the risk of that damaging equipment the coax rated at 100 and bridge is almost double. I’m doing a build on the same dsp right now. And I have 3 extra channels thinking of doing the same

You guys always call deadening “sound proofing” and proclaim how much it’ll reduce exterior noise. It is not sound proofing. It will not have a huge impact on reducing road noise/engine noise. (Albeit a couple db less) That would require closed cell foam, or a fibrous, insulation type material. Love the work and videos, but that bit always seems ignorant, or disingenuous.

The KEF system is anything but poor. And out goes the Lotus ethos of light weight!
