I can not state how the videos do NOT do it justice. If you have a 1440p or 4k monitor and you get on this with 100+ fps. you will be BLOWN AWAY. I was speechless when I saw how crisp and sharp and smooth and CLEAN everything looked. They did gods work.
The crazy thing is that this was just supposed to be a preorder bonus for Infinite warfare. Probably why Activision is not happy about this popping off.
Just got a 360hz 1440p oled I cannot wait to play this if it's as good as you're making it out to be

bro I can bind the keyboard for 125 250 and 333 ping and it hits it with ease on 32gb ddr3 gtx 1070 and fx8350... I was shocked bro and to see jumps and bounces still working flawlessly and even better since any gliding surface you bounce off now, so even more trickshoting combos hahah

@@bigpete7865 you only need the files and steam can't remove them even if you refund it, only downside is you wont be able to delete it without buying again or pirating

I did the buy on steam and refund strategy, it works, then got help from a guy in the revived discord, and was walked through step by step on how to install what I needed. Long live h2m

@@infiniteghosts imma be real bro, I’m not tech savvy and had to be walked through it step by step. But on my end before I got help. I bought the game, but only downloaded the mp. copied the multiplayer part in away from steam. Idk if that really did anything, but whatever, then I requested a fund. Got my 42 dollars back and got help from the discord with the steps.

I straight up bought the steam version, downloaded the multiplayer only, opened the game for a few seconds, I’m not sure if this mattered but I copied the multiplayer file and moved it into a folder away from steam, then requested a steam refund. Got money back, then found people running the revivedh2m discord that could help me install the mod step by step
You don't even need to copy the files before refunding. Refunding a game on steam does not remove the files you've downloaded

The unfortunate reality of this situation is that, yes we have H2M now, however the mod devs won't be able to update the mod and fix all the bugs and add new content. That being said, i feel like the player base will move on and play something else

They uploaded a patch to git not long ago, its possible.
A new team is taking over called s2m they gonna update the game in the near future
This is the unfortunate truth, without mentioning all of the people that got their PCs infected from downloading files just from the desire of wanting to play this, and still continue to do so.
It's unfortunate that we didn't get the REAL H2M mod. We just got a glorified IW4X.
The launcher should help with that when its released

H2M Revival admin crashed out basically and got upset everyone kept saying virus, also he pushed his devs away and knew he couldn’t do it himself so he passed it off to S2M team.

There is a mod that was released that makes the server browser optional, it’s a matchmaking mod that auto connects you to a server from the browser based off ping and game mode you select, best part is you have a 30 sec interval just like the og matchmaking for you to edit classes etc. only downside is servers need to change their setup files to allow the mod

The player count on each server is the only thing really keeping me from playing this more. 9v9 on maps that were designed for 6v6 is just a horrible experience for me.

Just to let you know a new group took over and they are planning on resetting stats so might be a pointless grind. Not 100% tho but they mentioned it. They are also making a launcher so everything auto updates.
I don’t think H2M revived discord got cease and desisted cause I was there when everything went down and it was literally just the owner of the server nuking the entire thing and leaving. It’s now renamed to something completely different I don’t know what cause I left the server after everything got nuked.
In the exact words of the owner from the twitter post quote
“Reason why I’m not doing it anymore: false info, fake RCE shit, fake virus aka false positive, can’t get all source files so, state of the game is where it’s at no updates no nothing, moving to something bigger.” End quote.
So literally what happened was the owner nuked the server and left all of it behind and it is now renamed.
SM2 and H2M joined to make a new game
Everybody exept the owner made another server and started working on a fixed version of the mod called S2M
Owner got in his own words "overwhelmed" with 40k people joining in 2 days. Also he talked about making his own game on day1 of the server, that is NOT happening 100%. He then sent everyone to S2M which is not renamed to HorizonMW, and they are working on full launcher (NO TORRENT) and master servers etc. So everyone will start from level 1, no maxlevel and better AC.

As much as I hate to admit it, I’m going to have to hold off from getting H2M even despite it still seeing the light of day. I’m not as savvy when it comes to knowing what files and sketchy and which aren’t nowadays. After the fiasco yesterday with the discord and people not knowing who to trust, there’s just too much grey area. Sucks too, I was really looking forward to reliving the glory days…

I mean, yeah everyone has H2M, but I’ve heard nothing but people talk about how a large majority of games are full of hackers… the worst part is it can’t be fixed either, it’s not long now at all until all these servers are infested with hackers and it’s ruined.

You could of kept the player2 file and just used the tilder key and typed “statsreset” and clicked enter and when you load up in to a game your level 1

i have a feeling that this mod will be short lived ( a couple of months) until people start to lose interest . This only ignite the fire in some of us veterans of MW2. But thats it pretty much. We have played this game already pretty much. And have the ability to play CoD4 maps doesnt do much. At least for me, the maps are not good compared to MW2. ( I end up on bog all the time

There aren’t enough servers to meet the demand. This is lasting more than a few months. And there’s literally MW2 maps, MW2CR maps, and custom maps from any COD. They’ve already ported all of the AW maps in less than 2 days. BO1 maps could be next

I was in the current (as of today) discord saying if an exe certification only costs $300 why are we not coming together to get that so that all the casuals don't think it's infecting their computer and get on the game. Unfortunately I think it's a bunch of youngbloods running things with the official leaked mod and that's why it's kind of an unprofessional shitshow but hopefully over time things smooth out and we get multiple thousands of players logging on every day because let's be real, this is THE Call of Duty

it's impressive the build we got but if the devs only waited a little longer to get all the qol stuff done and then risk releasing it. cause it is a chore loading up games and being kicked/ctd. hope modders can fix some of this tho.
im sure releasing is helping find a lot of those bugs at the same time though, rather than the small dev team trying to squash out bugs, idk imo its better for the mod to come out before activision can do something

I just installed the mod, nothing for matches in the game, but I did get into a match manually typing in a server in the console.
The server join is broken atm, console command join is currently the best way to do it

Yeah you did, they were "penetration kills" but If I recall, glass counted as wallbangs too, and I used to camp behind a piece of unbreakable glass so it wasn't terrible lol

Brooo if they had been able to support this game like a current or even an old school cod with map packs, I would have road this train all the way during bo6. Shit would have been fire. Just having quarterly map packs would have been sufficient. I don’t even like the new brain rot cracked cods that much. Last one I liked fully was MW19, DMZ in MWII is fire too.

The most servers I've seen is 66 and yesterday there was 600 players but when I looked today there was only like 192 but I did see someone with over 130 servers and around 1300 players how are you getting so many people and so many servers lol wtf
