The band picks up on the audience energy. I just saw them last weekend at the Britt in Oregon, they were perfect. Sound was amazing, it was a great experience. All those people singing song after song knowing the lyrics it was amazing. The Britt is a great venue small enough for everyone to be pretty close. I've loved TEB for 20 years, so yeah I'm old. Lol
I was also at that show. They really did a great job the entire time. London was a personal highlight for me. And I agree, Britt is a really nice venue. The beautiful hills of Jacksonville in the background plus the sunlight fading as the show went on made for an unforgettable experience. That whole set just felt so intimate. Been a fan of them ever since I got their self-titled on cassette when it first came out.
Damn Steven sounds sick or something it just sounds kind of off I think they could turn the guitar player up a little bit more but hey man you know when you're on tour I guess you just got to push through bad nice and I don't know though if I paid to see that I'd be like hey you do not take a night off you know take a couple days off and maybe let your voice rest but you know I'm just bitching
Might want to practice up on "faster".. or don't play it.. that was a. Rotten performance.. .. some songs were great,,others made me feel emmbarasef for them.. love y guys,, but you can do so much better
Agree! What the fuck is up with that flanger effect on the drumkit during Never Let You Go?! So weird xD To me they seem like a sad and tired band, not just this performance. The debut was fine, however.
I'm sure if the mix was better it would be a better my experience. I'm not huge on the new band members but hey. Make em sound clean and crisp and I'd at least feel justified listening.
