Tony never got enough credit for stepping in and learning these complicated Kevin Cadogan songs so quickly. The band has nothing of the bite it had back in the day with either of those. RIP 3eb
It was really cool seeing Tony also pay Kevin his due for *writing* the parts when the whole XEB thing happened. Not to mention watching those two guys team up to stick it to Stephan 😂
Also the thing is Kevin did not get totally screwed when dust settled with everything he got his recognition too so not sure why so many people feel he was screwed over he wasn’t you all should look at the sham Tony’s case was wow-that’s sad! Just saying if you compared the years put into growth of music together as a whole include touring writing blood sweat and soul Tony’s time dedicated fully to us far outweighs Kevin’s that is difference they are not suppose to sound same-

Tony and Kevin both amazing unique in their individual ways no two artists are to sound same it’s what makes us beautiful unique which those two are amazing this point is who cares who wrote what guitar parts we love them both I’m grateful for years they gave to us creating amazing music we all shared connected to for years they gave up their lives to give to us only (especially Tony) to get burned in ways they did still do for this I’m grateful miss the music they all created together hasn’t been same since they left remembering good days good music separation brings suffering

My opinion differs isn’t that the most beautiful thing in the world we have ;the ability to see things differently through different eyes ;it’s like comparing oranges to apples what two artists are suppose to be same the world would become very boring at that point
I’d hate to have Flea replaced from RedHot Chilly and ever think one could replace his sound that’s where Stephan failed💯you can never replace the sound vibrations created when a band gets together collectively writes music creates ThirdEyeBlind was never going to be able to replicate or be replaced by other artists at that point just call yourself something different or it’s kinda being a poser pretending to the fans isn’t fair either the sound is different it won’t ever be same at least SJ gets to still get up there and sing to himself though 🤡

Shit....In the middle of Narcolepsy Jenkins took off up into the top rows high above the stage and broke out with a few lines from Sedated! I had forgotten. Hadn't seen this in a long time. I was 27 yrs old in the most painful relationship of my life but taking a forced break from it. Went back for the grand finale and almost checked out for good. This album was released on the break and fell in and out of love 2 times in a short amount of time. They took my mind off the pain for a bit. Needed that relief! Great time to be alive and young.

TBH I don't remember the exact details. I believe around 2004 I received it as a burned DVD from another friend of mine. I was doing some rearranging the other day and came across it in a stack of old discs. Apparently this was one of those shows where the full set had been lost in time as I could never find it, so I decided to upload. Hope you dug it man.

Think about how long Kevin has been had been out of band he was carrying a torch he let go of years ago and had ample opportunity to pick it back up reclaim his own and do what he wanted to do freely with his music at least he was paid decent at end his lawsuit got what he wanted was to be free away from Stephan who he hated at time and couldn’t get along with it was his blessing his time to shine he had choices and opportunities-chose to linger on holding onto the 3EB thing as if it wasn’t his choice to go too-he could’ve made multiple great albums still could too maybe he and SJ had same clashing egos how long ago was that- he didn’t put in the multiple years of touring writing expenses heart blood sweat tears as Tony gave and to be treated with such distain and still get nothing no money what happened to him his career cause of it has no words to explain Tony gave his life for that band and it came through the music he spent years giving to fans band touring ;compared to Kevin -Kevin had the freedom to be free what he wanted Tony gave his soul for us for years got nothing it’s very sad that’s the difference between two nobody thinks about that no one really knows knew what heartaches transpired from the inside but obviously did for him to have been treated so disrespectful like he meant nothing hopefully people see that certain things in life you can never replace or revisit kinda like the moment -it too shall pass just as the moment does seasons eventually change-🙏🏼
