Fab Four Taxi Tour if you’re a Beatles fan. Takes you to Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields gate, John, Paul, George, and Ringo’s childhood homes, and lots more.
I could add a few others...St George's Hall, the Philharmonic pub, the Museum of Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, Speke Hall, John Lennon and Paul McCartney childhood homes, the Mersey Tunnel Tour. You can spend a whole day just down at the waterfront and Pier Head. It's also interesting to spot the street art; with statues of The Beatles, Billy Fury, Cilla Black and Eleanor Rigby to name a few, there's so much to see. Oh and Paddy's Wigwam aka the Catholic Cathedral.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job!
If you want a Cathedral we've got one to spare in my Liverpool home. Sir your vid has forgotten to mention that Liverpool has two Cathedrals . The other one is just down the road the name of the road is hope street . The Catholic Cathedral was one of the last big Cathedrals to be built in Great Britain in the sixties, the acoustics are fantastic the alter is said to be the exact centre of Liverpool and it is beautiful. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Eunice, there really is a lot more to Liverpool than the Beatles. We had so many firsts in our history. Did you know that it was a Liverpool Politician who brought about the abolition of slavery? Just do a little research and I’m sure you will want to visit even more.🙂❤️
Liverpool’s a mixed bag but there’s enough about it to make it a good city overall (and the whole Baltic area’s really cool). Gateacre, Woolton, Aigburth and Mossley Hill (and certain parts of a Toxteth) are some of the most affluent areas in the U.K. so there’s that enticement-pull for people who have money and are trying to settle down rather than just visit for a weekend/day or two.
