Since all of Green Days songs since Warning have two guitar parts it’s kind of essential they have Jason on stage playing the solos and lead parts. Also Jason is a stronger lead guitarist. Billie can hold his own just fine on lead when it’s called for but he is more of a rhythm guitarist.
