- Silent Hill is a new Chapter for Dead by Daylight. It includes a new Killer, The Executioner, and a new Survivor, Cheryl Mason.
The Silent Hill Chapter also introduces a new map, Midwich Elementary School: the childhood trauma that once took place in its halls has since manifested itself into a twisted, nightmarish design. The new Killer is The Executioner: take control of Pyramid Head and wield his great knife to unleash his twisted brand of punishment on all who cross him. The new Survivor is Cheryl Mason, a courageous, outspoken woman who survived the hellish Otherworld of Silent Hill, and exacted revenge on the Order that killed her father. With experience beyond her years, she's prepared to once again stand against any evil that confronts her.

Honestly I was expecting the new killer was going to be Jason, Candyman, or Pennywise. Wasn’t expecting Pyramid Head and I’m pleasantly surprised. Can’t wait to see how he plays and who follows.

Just makes me want a Silent hill remake. Heather is looking better than ever. Even though Pyramid Head is James' personal demon that stalks him and I hate it when people just throw him in cause he's iconic.

@@Kira2056 This is after Pyramid Head fulfilled his original purpose. The Entity pulled it out of James's mind so that he could serve Its own purposes, so he is no longer linked to James. It belongs to the Entity now.

Imagine if Konami grew the F up and gave up the rights to a great teamp of devs and fans who'd make the best SH game and IMO a true remake of 1-3.

This was probably the smartest move they could have made. Silent hill fans are desperate for any type of content now that Konami has fucked itself over. Even more points for focusing on Silent Hill 3, which is one of the most memorable and wide spread silent hills. I'm so happy they did this, but I wish we could get another game with Cheryl :(

Why do so many people want James or Harry? Cheryl (Heather) was a pretty good choice and one of the best Protagonists in the SH franchise. However i dont get how the devs didn't use what they used in the Stranger Things Chapter and allow Two Survivors.
That was a pretty exclusive thing and I don't think they want to have way more survivors than killers. As of this chapter, there's 20 killers and 22 survivors
I want james mainly because it'd make more sense for him to be chased around by pyramid head. But also because I miss silent hill 2

This is pretty much a demo for a new silent hill remake style game, think about it. Theyre bringing Cheryl and Pyramid Head back from their individual games, and combining the two to create a resident evil remake style silent hill, DBD is a third person horror game, resident evil remakes are third person horror games, Konami was testing the waters when they made this dlc, making a playable teaser, or for P.T. (how ironic) for short, i think they might remake the old Silent Hill games in a resident evil remake format
You are saying it like it's a good thing or something. Recent Resident Evil 2/3 refakes (not a typo) are pathetically cut to shit, with entire locations, mechanics and bosses being absent. well, the devs in the same stream this trailer went live on said they were doing a "Graphics overhaul" and showed some screenshots of how it will look, the screenshots were on Badham and they look amazing

Pyramid Head was pulled from James's mind into the Fog after serving its original purpose. They wanted to include stuff from the first 3 games. Map from 1, killer from 2, survive from 3.

Repressed Alliance is also good with Sprint Burst. If a killer comes to your gen to kick it, you can block the gen and Sprint Burst away. Then the killer doesn't get a kick or a free hit.

Just an FYI for people, this Silent Hill appearance in DBD is NOT of the games at all, but of the movies. Yep, the 1st okay movie and the 2nd mess of a movie, it puts pyramid head in alongside cheryl.
They specifically say Pyramid Head is the same one from Silent Hill 2. Same design, and the in-game lore explicitly states that it was pulled from James's mind after its original purpose was served.
