Very nice... I was able to follow on Google map. Nice 4K video. We will be there next week!
Have fun!
Love this ride. I live in Palm Desert so I take this route often on my bike. I like your work keep it up.
Glad you enjoy it!
That first section you film is currently metered for construction.. it's fun to sit at the light and wait for the whole mountain to clear going uphill if you're like me and uh.. a "spirited driver"... that double lane chicane near the top before you roll into mountain center is just pure fun.
This is a very, very fun drive! There are many "spirited" drivers on this track on the weekends. Thats why I shot this on a ride on a Friday, far fewer cars. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Check out the Paradise Cafe on the corner of Hwy 74 and the road heading to Anza. Ask for the Jimmy Buffet Special (Chesseburger in Paradise). Another nice drive is Hwy 79 from Old Town Temecula to Julian. I have not been on 79 from Julian to I-8 yet and would love to see that.
I really appreciate your suggestions! I love exploring new routes and eateries, and the Paradise Cafe sounds like a must-visit. Thank you for sharing!
terrifying!
What sort of camera mount do you use?
The 3 camera shoot I do from the car uses DJI Action Cams on a suction cup mount to the windows. Image stabilization is internal to the cameras, DJI's "Rocksteady" IS. The aerial shots are from a DJI Air 2S drone. The drone has a gimbal on the camera, and shoots in 4K 120fps, or in 5k 60fps which is the setting I use. Some handheld camera work is on my iPhone 14 Pro, with its new image stablization feature. I used to use a gimbal with the old iPhone, but I can leave that piece of gear at home now.
Thanks for watching!
@@ridealongwithscott Thank you..I have gone thru so many mounts for the dash, including suction cups and clamp ons, everything falls off! I will look into that camera too, thanks.
