There is something hypnotic about watching these idiots play 50/50 with perfectly good cars worth north of 30 grand. I mean why would you DO THAT???@??????
I wonder if you mount some V shaped bumpers that can withstand the force of the water, you can easily driver through the water with no problems even if your air intake is located low in the engine, you would slice through the water like a knife, or like a warship
I was always told stop check Depth 1st gear keep revs up as you slowly craw through making a small wave at the front at end always check your breaks. Not one person knows how to drive through a ford.
Did you do spelling & punctuation by any chance at school Jason Welsh?! You basically slip the clutch in other words when driving through a ford, think you taking it out of context somewhat.
@@matthewvwuk - oh the sheer irony of someone picking holes in someone's spelling, punctuation or grammar (or lack thereof) on the internet in a comment section of some social media, when even they themselves don't do it right... It was raining here all day too so I thought there has to be another video of people ruining their motors at rufford ford. Funny how they apparently drive through ok then you realise they have wrecked their motor when the camera pans to the end of the road. The detour is only a mile so when will these people learn? In the meantime it's great entertainment for us.
@Steve D older cars usually had it just under the bonnet not on the floor. And they all had more ground clearance no low profile bollox, so your standard 70 or 80 motor would be ok down a rutted track and ok through a Ford. Driven sensibly obviously
That's not really "slow" - there's plenty of people over the months who've shown exactly how to do it; the one in the Golf here isn't exemplary by any standard...
Its the people standing close- getting covered in filthy river spray that gets me !
I thought that Golf owner was going to demonstrate the correct technique, but the bellend floored it.
Don't except too much from VW drivers. x)
But he did right
Les mécaniciens ne doivent pas manquer de travail chez vous ! 😂😂😂
they need to build tiered stands and seating like a stadium around this ford. And make it a paid for ticketed event. They'd make a fortune!
0:29 woo !!! Yup every day new parts !
Need roadside assistance on site and a tow truck 🇦🇺🔥👍.Thanks watching from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺😊👍
Yep these guys are clueless 👍
Diesels rock.
My tummy hurts from laughing so much!😂😂😂😂
Look at me ,I'm going to destroy me engine in a few seconds 🥴 in fact I'm going to change the laws of physics ,I'm going to compress water 💦😳
You can'nat compress water Jim!
Fun for the whole family :)
Best tourist attraction in Nottinghamshire. Open 24 hours and the kids love it, says the tourist website. Adults watching love it also. Great fun
Just curious, why do people still drive through despite all this happening?

@@Endor2001 Not true. Have a look on the OS road map. I can't reproduce it here for copy right reasons.

showing off to the cheering crowd
@@cybertroy2 Presumably a lower IQ than income by some margin!
I want to see a electric car go through this ford lol
3:23, 5:13, several previous videos 👍
4:29 might be electric as well. EVs are sealed, they are not as sensitive as an ice
@@Elektroreisen - aye nice catch
Next time you buy a secondhand car think about where it's been.
Especially if you buy it from a dealership near rufford!
I will open a garage here. This time next year I’ll be a millionaire.
nice video

Haha brilliant comment 👍🏼😂
Driving in reverse should do the trick

I would very much like to watch a montage of people going the wrong way (Rainworth Water), especially the record holder who got the farthest 🤣🤣🤣
Help help my legs gone berserk.
Hey, Big Like!👍💯
Don't they ever learn 🤷🏾♂️
Is this a recent video that much flood now?
I went through there last week a few times in a bright blue volvo, I don't suppose you caught mine did you?
Is it a 2015 v40?
Yoooooo
Pls slow down...pls....
😊🚙🎉
Most of the drivers: we are very, very stupid!
The fact about augusto comment is edited just wow
I’ve seen you three today at the ford
What time
Carbon based life forms with very small brain s Captain.
Did the police gave up, finally?
Why 、wtth low speed??
Drive in reverse.
is there no other route to drive? why do they still use this road full of water?
Yes there are other routes, but people are stupid.

Great example on how badly cars are built these days. Give me a 1970s car any day without computers and oxygen sensors.
And square tyres and reasonably high suspension and the air intake above the engine. They could clear two feet of water dead slow

@@highdownmartin i used to drive old fords through a ford at speed and never wrecked an engine ever
Also you won't lose all that ridiculous plastic nonsense with a proper car.
00:23 proof that driving slow doesnt work either, if you car is badly designed it dont matter how fast you go
Thinking driving in reverse would help.

I'm surprised the local authorities never do anything to raise the road or drain the water.
Is this a 3rd world country?
There’s nothing to fix
