Autel nano mini (aka) range master. Now autel need to work on the speed when flying against the wind.
So, this is another 20-minutes (!) long "range test" which doesn't even show real range limit (flying until the connection is lost).

@@TECHDRONEMEDIA It was reasonably entertaining and somewhat informative, but Pavel had a point. I t wasn't actually a "Range Test".
I have to thank you for this video. There are people at the moment who apparently believe the Autel EVO Nano is in FCC mode here in Europe (CE), just like the zini Mini. It is certainly not nice to accept that a stable connection is better, and at the moment Autel has the better one.

Now please Autel , take the promised tracking to that little bee hopefully soon and then the Nano Plus is in my eyes on level ( or even better ) than the Mini3 in case of cinematic videos. I don´t need vertical videos, by which the Mini3 got the hype.
How long was the flight time?
The Autel nano & Lite series has 3 BANDS (2.4,5.2,5.8) vs DJI' s 2 BANDS (2.4,5.8) .
Better camera Better range, no geofencing, give me a good reason to stay with DJI...
The camera is just a small bit better, no issue for a hobbyist. The geofencing is interesting for professionals. Normaly ther’s no need to fly in an NFZ. What’s when the C-classifications needs geofencing? The range-discussion is way outside VLOS. The entire performance is better on DJI side. Also all the services goes by points to DJI. I would wish to see more present the Nano. Overall a sad situation but the advanced of being earlier didn’t brought Autel to the pole position.
The camera isn't better, it's just sharpened inside the software. DJI drones don't sharpen with software, you can do it in post.
@@jeroenvdw With DJI Fanboy, you do not need to start talking, He is a DJI Fanboy, through and through. He can't and won't accept a Netherlands for what he sees as the world's most prescriptive drone (in its third generation). Let him write what he wants, a response in my eyes is superfluous. His arguments do not pay yours and mine as Autel owner.

@@jeroenvdw What you see is certainly NOT sharpening. It's detail. This has been confirmed by two tech experts with many years experience. The RYYB filter combined with a sharp lens and excellent internal processing give great detail and definition. As a professional commercial photographer, I agree with the experts. Having said that, I believe that Autel have a very long way to go to catch up with DJI's software. It's currently not up to the job but the Autel camera is superior by a reasonable margin, especially in low light. Put the Autel camera on the DJI and you would have a world beating drone.
Evo nano 2 will be a rocket !!! In now That is the best camera in mini drone, and the drone with the best range.
Wait for a second edition.
What’s about update the dynamic track before talking about the 2 edition. If people wants an update, something must be wrong. I think the Nano+ is a very good drone.

If you weren't getting good transmission there, I would really be worried. The only thing between you and these drones was the curvature of the earth 🌎. Unless... No! Your not a flat earther. Right? (Say right, lol)

Great test and great drone! Much better range performance compared to Mini 3. DJI is not able to fix the big issue yet and we have not been informed if they are even able to fix this. The Autel is great and it would be great if they would add some sort of Mastershot as well.

How good was the end part of the video there, as the battery went from 8% to 7% to 6% ... then to Zero%, and the autel nano just wasn't giving up, AND THEN ........... .... ah I wont spoil the end of this video ... thanks again, you and your team really enjoyed yourself that day ... andy (Merseyside UK)
I once flew my Mavic Air until the battery depleted, and the battery bricked itself.
Yeah that would happen probably went past below safe voltage operation time

Interesting. But why didn`t you go to the very beginning of the runway? Then you could extend the range test several meters.
Nice testing, the Nano did very well out there. And good to know it drops out of the sky if you fly it to long on zero battery. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah but this was completly his fault. He forced the drone upwards by keep pressing the stick upwards. The drone started landing at 10%. If you let the drone do its thing when the battery is low it will land safely. I would never trust the battery percentage completly . Battery chemistry cannot be forecasted accuratly. Below 10%, battery can deplete rapidly. Look at liion voltage curves and you understand what i mean.
@@andreasn455 that's fine he's testing emergency reserve power. I would like to know the ballpark time between 10% and dead

In the German Drone License Test Catalog, there is a question about allowed spotters. It says that the spotter must be located besides the pilot. Is there a source that the spotter is allowed far away as long as communication to the pilot is ensured? Should be the same for all of EU and interesting to kmow. The German drone license test question may be plain wrong ... The test is made by "Luftfahrtbundesamt" (LBA).
P.S. The rules say that the spotter must be able to spot the drone w/o technical aids. Maybe, this means to include the communication to the pilot too? Dunno ...

I still see Drone Philly doing by his thing despite him having the FAA fine him like crazy a year ago (no idea what the outcome was) .... Maybe in the end all these "rules" are really not much more than being guidelines. As a case in point, is there any court case you are aware of against any YT anywhere in the world for BVLOS, altitude, urban, etc?
