I just drove by come by chance today and the oil refinery. Now I heard this story it gave me chills. I hit a moose with my car before and it was destroyed I should have been killed. The moose stood up and walked away not far before it died but still wtf. Love your stories and hello from Newfoundland.

If I ever fall prey to a merciless killer, I hope I have the courage and presence of mind in my final moments to utter a dying declaration that will insult them and plague them with self-doubt for the remainder of their natural life. Great story and narration, as always.

I live in Wyoming and I think moose are terrifying. They are HUGE! I’ve seen them chase bears, crush cars and walk off like nothing happened. I’ve even seen them knock over trees with ease. They’ll kill you.
The worst collision I've ever seen was a red Ford focus hatchback that hit a moose one terribly rainy morning, it went through the windshield and killed All 4 people instantly. It was on a 4 lane highway so they were probably doing a decent speed.
sorry im just straight up imagining this moose climbing down to save him in the sea calling him every translation of "idiot" it knows in its head i love these types of stories! the ones with monsters or cryptids that aren't necessarily good but choose to save/let the main character get away/stop a minor antagonist from getting to them for its own amusement or interest.
I’m only half way through, but this story kinda reminded me of a dream I once had where a gigantic moss covered moose slowly searched for me through fog filled fields and villages while calling my name and taunting me in an attempt to eat me. I don’t know why I had that dream, my country doesn’t even have moose and I have only seen a few pictures of them online.

I think...Mikael kinda used the person telling the story to free himself. He was herding him to Matilda's house because he knew the stipulations of their covenant. He knew he was in the pile of rotten meat, as the fae have incredible senses. He was driving him to where he needed to be to enact his way out. I also hold that he saved the guy's life from the water. A sort of 'paying back his debts' sort of deal for unknowingly freeing him. A tying up loose ends so to speak

A Normal Moose can be pretty Dangerous, but a Murder Moose is one you should not take lightly ever, especially this one. But far more dangerous is when one is accompanied by a Squirrel!
I don't know why ppl are so quick to take a drink from someone they don't even know? It would make me even more suspicious if they kept trying to pressure me to eat or drink something? I notice how the villain always uses the "It's very rude to reject hospitality" excuse which, makes the person feel as if they're actually being rude so they give in? In the wise words of the little girl on the very first episode/season of American Horror Story(when those 2 bad butt twins was going inside the Murder House)"Ur gonna regret it! Ur gonna regret it!"

Making deals with that who is other is always a dangerous risk, especially if you are binding a sentient being to your will. Anything smart enough to make a deal is smart enough to look for a way out of it. I adored "parted on less than amicable circumstances". Hi LH H, I Really Liked This 1 too !! Kudos to Yöu for Choosing HeadofSpectre's Story 🤗👍 Thank Yöu for Your Time Bringing Us Fantastic Entertainment/StoryTelling Yöur Fan From Ont, Canada 🇨🇦
The way people always describe moose makes it seem like they're the size of 2-story houses, but I can't help thinking of them like XL deer. I would love to see one, one day. Great story, great narration, as usual!!
They’re really big. …I’ve never seen anything so big before in my life except like an elephant or giraffe. I saw one in the wild in Canada 🇨🇦 working. Scared the hell out of me, cause I was by myself and outside my company truck
This was really an impressive story 👏 I really enjoyed it. Been listening to a lot of story's from this Channel and others, but I think that this Channel is one of the best. The way its narrated is well done.
You clever lovely bastard, you tricked me ! I was thinking about where the story would go, what creature we had here, where it would go only halfways through the playtime.... I figured out the white hut would have a lady, BUT FORGOT THE FAE ! What a rare one. Dang I always forget my ancient monsters. You got me good this time ! 💙
Having grown up in Alaska, I can vouch that moose are huge. A fully-grown bull is bigger than a draft horse, and then there are the antlers. Their hooves are the real worry, though; they can be very sharp, and with a moose's weight behind them, they'll turn you into mincemeat. Also, yes, they are excellent swimmers, to the point that orcas prey on them in the waters of Southeast Alaska.
This story was great! Thank you we appreciate all your hard work on your channel your channel is amazing and your narrations are the best as usual! Thank you 🙏!
This was awesome! Covenant or not, moose will destroy your car, and if angered enough, chase you down. Incredible swimmers for sure~ one swam past my house a few years ago... and yes, I was shocked...
I took a family trip to Montana with my grandfather and two of my cousins many years ago, in the summer of 2005. We stayed in a rustic cabin in the mountains above the town of Libby, Montana. While we were there, we encountered a moose, and were well aware of how dangerous they are. Fortunately, the one we encountered was a cow moose, was a safe distance from us, and wasn't aggressive at all. That didn't stop one of my cousins from telling a ridiculous ghost story involving "Count Moose-ula" and "Moosenstein", which somehow seemed less ridiculous than normal when heard at night in the attic of a rustic cabin in the absolute darkness of a dense mountain forest...
Moose: tries to kill you You: outrun it for a while only to be drugged by a woman to be offered to the moose Moose: kills the woman for dishonorable behavior You: run into the sea and almost drown like an idiot Moose: don't worry, got you buddy *proceeds saving you from drowning and casually walks away as if nothing happened* Seriously, fantastic story, really enjoyed listening to it. We need more of these sort of stories, with a off-looking beast, almost zombie-like chasing the protagonist. It's really chilling and creates a lot of suspense, keep up the good work💪
Great story! I've never heard anything elk like that before! But dear story teller supreme, I moose ask you a question - What the Hell Was That! That one was so chilling, I was immediately traumatized into bad puns!
Matilda mentioned Mikhaels name being a bit weird and for Fae names are a powerful thing so she probably used finding out his name to lock him into a covenant
You’re narrations are the best! Always will be! Also it was nice to see you in person! That’s always nice to know who is telling the story. I’m a very big horror fan love the adrenaline of not knowing what happens in the story and trying to predict what happens but I’m about 50/50 on that. Yeah I’m 45 and Listen to all new horror stories on RUclips! You’re narrating is my favorite and I hope you enjoy your profession and that you know your the best!! 19:21

Just a tip. If you actually hit something on an abandoned road stop. I mean unless you want to get charged with a hit-and-run. In the real world not stopping is bad advice.

The dedication and effort doesn't go unnoticed in your work. May your channel grow more this year. Your stories make my day btw. You keep me company at different times of the day, especially during breaks at work or lunch. Thank you 🤗💕
🇨🇦 a good one. I knew a young man who encountered a moose, he had just picked up his first brand new car up in Prince George and was driving it back to the Okanagan. It was a 2001 Toyota Tercel and he just about fit right through the moose’s legs. Unfortunately, it hit the abdomen at just the perfect angle to peel back the roof of the car just over the drivers seat……🤢🫣 …….yes, that’s right ‘offal’ of it right over his head and all down into the drivers side of the car…… the inside of the moose.🤮 This was his first car accident as well. He was alone, on a long stretch of highway, covered in moose and new car smell 😂 The kicker? The car was fine, they actually FIXED IT and gave it back to him!!! They just replaced the drivers seat and carpets!! (Fixed the roof and windows of course). LOL - he drove the moose car for about 10 years.😂
Excellent you certainly do a spectacular narration, hank you. I must also thank the author, well done to the of you. As well as all the effort of editing and everything that goes th giving your listeners the final product.
Horns belong to the bovids: animals such as sheep, goats, cows, and bison. Antlers belong to the cervids. That includes all deer, elk, moose and caribou (or reindeer)
Sounds like more trouble than a moose on the interstate. Definitely a good story and top notch narration as always. Thank you Stephen for the awesome pasta. Definitely made my night and morning.🖤🖤
Hi mr lighthouse!! You were gone for a long time. Our family went nuts because your stories were'nt avalible for a long time! Our family lives here in Alaska. We give the moose a wide berth when they cross the roads!!
lol! partially hah. I'm so slow with using a camera at this point that I've kind of agreed with myself to not do it every video. But yeah, definitely wanna do them more and more frequently. thanks for watching Devin
When I was stationed up in northern Maine one of the things that they told us during my inbriefing was "do not under any circumstance mess with the moose." They are NOT good natured animals and if you decide to mess with one then don't be shocked when they make you their personal play toy.
He deserved every bit of that. I knew he was screwed when he accepted a drink. That's what cliché here. His insult would be better suited for himself. One of the few creepy pastas where I was chuckling at the sheer stupidity of the situation.
Whats even scarier is that the ending melody sounded a lot like a song called "sweet dreams" (are made of this). Cool reference if it is but terrifying.
The fact that the moose is named "Mikhail" would get me into real trouble if I were a character in this story. I wouldn't be able to keep from calling him "Mickey Moose", which he would be unlikely to take kindly to...

🔥👊😎🔥
A Normal Moose can be pretty Dangerous, but a Murder Moose is one you should not take lightly ever, especially this one.
But far more dangerous is when one is accompanied by a Squirrel!
Always love your story selections and of course…your narrations! Thanks Lighthouse!
Thank you 😊 I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your narrations. Always brings a smile to my stressful day :)
What an enjoyable little tale! Well written and narrated. Love your delivery and comic timing man.
Always a Awesome Friday afternoon when Mr Lighthouse gifts us a new upload. Thanks my Friend
Without Rocky to morally guide him, Bullwinkle gave in to his more primal desires.
as usual, you mashed it out of the park; thank you for the upload. and, your pushing 300k, thats incredible. i jumped on around the 90k mark. its exciting, seeing that #, go up with every vid.
Making deals with that who is other is always a dangerous risk, especially if you are binding a sentient being to your will. Anything smart enough to make a deal is smart enough to look for a way out of it.
I adored "parted on less than amicable circumstances". I usually say things like "returned to sender" in regards to my misery.
I’m excited for this one, my favorite all relate to forest creatures! Especially state parks
Listening to your voice after listening to so many of your awesome video's you now feel like an "Older Brother" sharing Scary Story's with Me as someone that always wanted an Older Brother and found a couple in older friend's, are really like that thought😊🇬🇧👍🏻
Outstanding thanks Stephen 😎👍
I'm so glad I found your Chanel! I love the way you narrate your videos can't wait for more thank you
You've set the bar so dang high with your narration and choices of stories that I can't listen to anyone else (aside from Dark Somnium.). Definitely the pinnacle for narrators to aspire! Great job man!!!
The little snippet of sweet dreams at the end was a nice touch.
Hi LH H, I Really Liked This 1 too !!
Kudos to Yöu for Choosing HeadofSpectre's Story 🤗👍
Thank Yöu for Your Time Bringing Us Fantastic Entertainment/StoryTelling
Yöur Fan From Ont, Canada 🇨🇦
“My dinner and I parted on less than amicable terms..” That’s poetry, right there. 😂
Yay new scary bed time story, perfect timing thank you.
The way people always describe moose makes it seem like they're the size of 2-story houses, but I can't help thinking of them like XL deer. I would love to see one, one day.
Great story, great narration, as usual!!
They are the size of a small house, literally double the size of deer, kinda like a guy on a horse stretching out his arms
They are a lot bigger than you think some like oversized horses with huge antlers.
Ever met a draft horse? Great, now make it even bigger and give it antlers and a pissy attitude.
I saw a couple for the first time when I went to Alaska pictures don't do them justice
Thanks Lighthouse
hey Nancy!
Glad I caught this excellent work as always Steven
Having grown up in Alaska, I can vouch that moose are huge. A fully-grown bull is bigger than a draft horse, and then there are the antlers. Their hooves are the real worry, though; they can be very sharp, and with a moose's weight behind them, they'll turn you into mincemeat. Also, yes, they are excellent swimmers, to the point that orcas prey on them in the waters of Southeast Alaska.
Always stay away from the woods and people still don’t get it then they become lunch
I love the narrator. Cracks me up. Really enjoyed this tale.

❤ your character voices Stephen, I've been a fan for a couple years now, you just keep getting better and better!
Moose: tries to kill you
You: outrun it for a while only to be drugged by a woman to be offered to the moose
Moose: kills the woman for dishonorable behavior
You: run into the sea and almost drown like an idiot
Moose: don't worry, got you buddy *proceeds saving you from drowning and casually walks away as if nothing happened*
Seriously, fantastic story, really enjoyed listening to it. We need more of these sort of stories, with a off-looking beast, almost zombie-like chasing the protagonist. It's really chilling and creates a lot of suspense, keep up the good work💪
Thank you for another delicious narration 🙏
Great story! I've never heard anything elk like that before! But dear story teller supreme, I moose ask you a question - What the Hell Was That! That one was so chilling, I was immediately traumatized into bad puns!
This is excellent so far, good choice Steven!! You're my favorite story narrator 🤌🤌🤌
Great one as always! Thank you for your hard work!!
Great story, thanks
Thank you so much
Matilda mentioned Mikhaels name being a bit weird and for Fae names are a powerful thing so she probably used finding out his name to lock him into a covenant
One of the best I've heard in a long time, if you're on the fence about listening to this one go for it, you will not be disappointed 👍
Awesome narration and great story..a treat as always. Thank you!
Thank you as always bro 🤘
Not the best thing to say but i wish you uploaded more often, im addicted to your videos and end up relistening to them all over and over every night. Absolutely love the rule ones!!!
Happy New Year LH! Thank you for this crazy story.
Just a tip. If you actually hit something on an abandoned road stop. I mean unless you want to get charged with a hit-and-run. In the real world not stopping is bad advice.
It's already the 7th but I wanted to wish you a Happy New Years Steven! I hope you enjoyed the holiday.
I rarely comment but I wanted to thank you for all your hard work. The dedication and effort doesn't go unnoticed in your work. May your channel grow more this year.
Your stories make my day btw.
You keep me company at different times of the day, especially during breaks at work or lunch. Thank you 🤗💕
I can safely say I've never encountered any Meese on the road.
I have. huge critters
MEESE HABAHA
Never take a drink from a stranger especially an open drink. That's a no-no.
🇨🇦 a good one. I knew a young man who encountered a moose, he had just picked up his first brand new car up in Prince George and was driving it back to the Okanagan. It was a 2001 Toyota Tercel and he just about fit right through the moose’s legs.
Unfortunately, it hit the abdomen at just the perfect angle to peel back the roof of the car just over the drivers seat……🤢🫣
…….yes, that’s right ‘offal’ of it right over his head and all down into the drivers side of the car…… the inside of the moose.🤮
This was his first car accident as well. He was alone, on a long stretch of highway, covered in moose and new car smell 😂
The kicker?
Never trap a fae, legends have said so. Bounding a fae is a call for death.
Sounds like more trouble than a moose on the interstate. Definitely a good story and top notch narration as always. Thank you Stephen for the awesome pasta. Definitely made my night and morning.🖤🖤
I love you’re channel! I get so excited when I see a new story!! Thank you! 😊
Great story! Thank you.
Love the story and your narration was superb, as usual ❤❤❤
Hi mr lighthouse!! You were gone for a long time. Our family went nuts because your stories were'nt avalible for a long time! Our family lives here in Alaska. We give the moose a wide berth when they cross the roads!!
The thumbnail screams, "Hello, your free trial on life has expired. Give me your soul". And I can't stop laughing XD 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not fully committed on the whole "face" thing yet, eh buddy?
lol! partially hah. I'm so slow with using a camera at this point that I've kind of agreed with myself to not do it every video. But yeah, definitely wanna do them more and more frequently. thanks for watching Devin
@@LighthouseHorror lol thanks for narrating stories that I'm otherwise too lazy to consume 😁
I love it, Had a feeling something may drop today
When I was stationed up in northern Maine one of the things that they told us during my inbriefing was "do not under any circumstance mess with the moose." They are NOT good natured animals and if you decide to mess with one then don't be shocked when they make you their personal play toy.
As a Newfie, it is so cool to hear a horror story set locally
Really enjoyed the story.
Fantastic narration as always!
I love me some lighthouse horror stories
He deserved every bit of that. I knew he was screwed when he accepted a drink. That's what cliché here. His insult would be better suited for himself. One of the few creepy pastas where I was chuckling at the sheer stupidity of the situation.
ha! yes he was being cliche too lol
@LighthouseHorror great job as always steven. Happy new year and I hope to hear many more stories from you. 😁
As usual great story.Thank you LH
Always enjoy your storytelling 🔥🔥🔥🤘
I really like all the voices thank you very clever God bless you honey❤
Come by chance is like 10 mins from my house! So cool hearing a syory based from where your from! Theres alot of creepy stories from newfoundland!
15:02 that moment when you finally feel relief, and then see that there's more than half left lol
Love this story.
A scary story thank you
One hell of a story. Thank you.
Ok, I need a part 2 to this story!!! And a prequel!!!
Whats even scarier is that the ending melody sounded a lot like a song called "sweet dreams" (are made of this). Cool reference if it is but terrifying.
I always listen to your stories when I'm in the gym. This one is great!
so cool to finally hear a canadian story!! i live in NB which is close to NFLD♥️
Excellent!! Gives me the creepy chills! More please!!😁😁❤🇺🇸🙏
The fact that the moose is named "Mikhail" would get me into real trouble if I were a character in this story. I wouldn't be able to keep from calling him "Mickey Moose", which he would be unlikely to take kindly to...
Always makes my morning better when I see a new post by you. Thank you.
