Don't really know any dead fandoms. Maybe quieted down ones, or just that i'm not as plugged into anymore. Does Bionicle count as one? Pochita as the love/hope demon would be a much mellower, or much crazier au it sounds like
Quieted down counts as dead on the internet unfortunately lolol 😭 so yes bionicle would count! I would love to hear what it's like now! And yeah it would be a crazy au lmaooo
@@AlleyDreamer actually bionicle seems to be in a rennaisance with the fans who have stuck with it, its just not as big in comparison to ongoing toy robot series like transformers or gundam. There's a big fangame in development rightnow, and the youtuber Essenger has kinda revived the fanvid community with his youtubepoop vids parodying the old ads for the toys. Hes even done a song in collaboration with one of the bands who used to do music for the actual ads 🔥
I don't know if any of the fandoms I was in are dead really. Maybe like Undertale's AU community? AUs in that fandom have been a mixed bag though, at least to me. I got tired once more and more of them slowly shifted the focus from the main cast to just Sans and maybe Gaster/Papyrus if you wanted some angst. That and how shipping took over the entire community. It's kind of better now but most of the well know ships are still based around Sans. I miss when people would do an entire retheme or reimagination of the base game and the little/major changes they would add. Deltarune from what I've seen actually does that still but until the full game comes out there's not much they can do with the plot.
My internet standards undertale would be considered dead. In the same way people consider Tumblr dead. Like obviously people are still there and kicking (like me lmaooo) but for the most part major hype has died down and there's no more craziness happening (again for the most part) And I totally agree on your statement!
Yeah then by all means it's dead say for the small dramas here and there. I definitely think it's for the best though, early Undertale fandom was crazy.
I chose to make my response beyblades since they just randomly popped into my head and what surprised me is they’re still producing toys and everything@@AlleyDreamer
