For those of you watching, I've been made aware I'm pronouncing "omniscient" wrong. I know now and will remember how to pronounce it in the future. Please continue to enjoy the video cause i had fun making it. 🤗🤗🤗 Also web comic should be web novel (TWSA is a web novel in ORV)
Orv is the type of story where everything is important, and the more you read the more you realize how well writting it is, the manwha is amazing and art really raise the battle aspect but I will always encourage ppl to read the novel for a better understanding of characters, the narrative's development is absolutly one of the strongest points in orv, and the end is just perfect.
As someone who started reading orv this year (first the webtoon and then jumped on the novel) i can say that reading the novel is so rewarding since ot gives you a lot more insight to certain characters and moments. I have 60 chapters left until im done with it and im both dreading it and looking forward to it lmao
@@itsanimel yeah! I caught up to the webtoon at the start of the demon king selection arc and I started the novel from where I left off there. And I now having read material from the novel and seeing it adapted in the webtoon, I'll say that at least the demon king of salvation arc is even better in the novel when it comes to character moments and insight thanks to the expanded narration and inner monologues
As a novel reader of orv and also a non shipper, I would rather have kdj and yjh ending up together than whatever paradox madness that I read at the ending. And yes, omniscient reader's viewpoint has a novel and it's completed with 551 chapters and ongoing side stories.
@@itsanimel the novel is available on webnovel app though there isn't an official translation to the side stories yet. And I'm not sure if the physical copies of the novel has an English version or not. And I definitely recommend the novel! It gives more depths to the story than the Manhwa in my opinion and it's more emotional if I had to say for sure since the story feels like it's meant to be read more than being watched as pictures. And in my experience, once you start reading it you can't go back and you are bound to finish it at some point since the story only gets better and better.
@@ardyana4980 the official novel ralease is listed for july 22, 2025 by yen press , already available to preorder in the website, but is only volumen 1 for now
This is an excellent summary of the story. Definitely described all of the key points in the story, going into detail on the settings, characters, and plot set-up. I enjoyed seeing one of my favorite webtoons becoming a topic for a video from a big channel! ORV has a special place in my heart, the web novel is fantastic, and the webtoon adaptation does pretty well at simplifying the story a bit, but to be honest there is a lot more detail on character motivations, minor story details, and explanations in the web novel that aren't present in the webtoon. Great video, hope to see some more ORV content once the anime comes out !! 🙏
Why thank you! Thank you for watching as well. I think once I get around to reading the novel, it's worth revisiting both materials to compare and contrast the nuances for webtoon/Manhwa only readers. I found it on webtoons but the more people I see talk about it, the more I keep looking for the web novel now.

I've gotten the indication that the web novel is so much more detailed so I intend to look for it. So good to see others validating that impression

I've been contemplating reading the web novel. Do you have an official place where you have read it or physical copies? So curious how it will end.
