F1 games need a full overhaul, game has the same cut scenes, crash scenes, dialogs, driver avatars (the real drivers look worse today than 2015)... honestly, the game hasn't changes much since 2015...

@@aghastinagharta Dude it's one of 4 moments... it's fine... you have a ton of things to do... and moments will be just quick little runs that will take you like an hour or so to complete them all... 99% of your time will not be in moments... if you're buying this game for moments you're doing something wrong...

Really surprised by the inclusion of Regularity rallying. I used to compete in regularity rallies in South Africa 20 years ago; they were both huge fun and very boring as a driver, and required a lot of concentration and calculation from the co-driver.
Something different, that people can choose whether to engage in or not. I actually marshalled on a regularity rally once when I was younger, felt like it was all about the community!

Car 1 arrives, gets their time clocked and then takes over to marshall all other cars. Once the last car has gone past, car 1 then carries on. Great community spirit in that too
I wish you could drive recce cars, or build your own, in the regularity rallies since it all really looks like a recce. Just a regular car with gravel tyres to learn the stage before tackling it with a rally car.
It is fun! I think it’s a good way to learn a stage and try something different, and at the end of the day it doesn’t take away from anything else in the game, just a nice little addition. Enjoy!
Tire management? Repairs? How do these work? Also disappointed that we lose control of the car post-finish line. I loved that extra layer of immersion (and driving skill on occasion) in Dirt Rally 2.0
@@emptylyles will that would explain it I never did time trial in DR2.0. I'm all about the immersion, and time trial isn't very immersive to begin with. I pretty much stick to career and custom rallies, with the occasional dip into the dailies/weeklies/monthlies. Don't like that I can't do hardcore damage in those but it satisfies the competitive itch when my friends aren't around.
Finally a WRC game matching the quality of rallying. The builder mode looks really interesting and I reckon modders will be able to put some nice things in it, like the return of old manufacturers that no longer compete in the WRC. Kudos to EA Sports.
Hopefully the daily challenges aren't locked behind owning each car like it was in DR2. I think that was the most bizarre decision I can remember in a racing game lol

From what I’ve read and watched it’s the same as Dirt Rally 2.0. It’s stretched. There’s a video I watched on RUclips. One of the Devs even confirmed that’s it’s stretched.

The livery editor, at least as it is presented in this preview build is rather disappointing. Basically as limited as it would be in the EA/Codemasters F1 games. Nothing like the prior WRC games or Forza

It was the most common type of race during the early years of rally, mostly because roads weren't closed at this time. Nowadays, regularity rallies rules still apply during some historical rallies.
it does have less features than wrc generations though... except the car builder which kinda looks stupid because all the parts are made up, not fun to me. i would much rather have a 3d model importer than a weird builder mode
I Would Love to know if The Damage is any good as I Have always been disappointed in How Rubbish the Damage Simulation is. We should be punished if we Go offline and hit a Rock the tyre should Shred and cause Massive Body Damage and we should have a Challenge getting the car back to Service. I so Hope the Damage simulation is better. Of Course we should be able to Choose How Bad the Damage is by having a Setting to be able to Choose How Bad the Damage is... I have always found The Damage on Rally Games is Rubbish and Disappointing.
The fun thing with Codemasters are that they claim to be "the world-leader in racing simulation", and have no clue about tarmac physics ! That's comedy to me !
The good thing in this game is, that you can just skip all of that. People who want the full career mode experience can go there. Otherwise go straight to Championships and create your own, simple and straight Championship. It's both in the game.

Some events in Moments mode are exclusive to EA PLAY subscribers.

Regularity Rally looks *really* relaxing. Could be the ultimate gaming ASMR :p
Plus I think it can be a good way to learn new stages, like some sort of recce.
And I believe it's based on real rallies, like the Carrera Panamericana that is made up of mostly historical cars that is not speed based.

Regularity rally looks like the chillest and tense experience at the same time. No surprise if I send more time in there than main campaign.

If it's like DR2 that's just for time trial. Career mode and others had you controlling the car post-finish line.

This game was not on my radar as it was an EA published game but this looks better then expected.
I think a lot of it represents what dirt rally 3.0 was going to be, but then with a resource boost during the process and of course, the WRC license.

@idktbh81 normaly they are release with time intervals, ok is now 3 minutes but I liked it in dirt 3 when it was possible to catch up

AI photo mode would be a great edition… to any game. It just captures interesting shots that you can choose to save or not.

I have a big problem with building your car in a WRC game/sim. Custom cars are not alowed in WRC because they can't get homologated.

Cancelled my pre order for WRC 23, because EA have rendered my wheel unusable after the Grid Legends update in September. They haven't fixed it yet.
