F1 is a different Codemasters team.
I doubt FOM would allow it. Seeing as they only let the team use their FOM show car when creating the MyTeam/Online car

Interior customisation would be sick in nfs even if the game doesn’t have cockpit view but they could always do that car meet thing in nfs heat crew garage and then view the interiors in there

The number infront of a Direction is the "degree of sharpness", 5 beeing shallow, 1 beeing very sharp. And the bigger numbers like "120" or "200" is remaining distance to it.
So a "2 right 140" is a fairly sharp corner to the right in 140m
This seems like one of those times where EA doesn’t the potential for heavy monetization and leaves the team unsupervised. This usually results in a banger, Can’t wait.

So rare to see EA SPORTS WRC finally being this amazing. Finally EA never messed this game up unlike Turn 10 does with FORZA MOTORSPORT 8!
I liked the Ego engine. The switch to Unreal was probably to save on development costs in the future (no need to hire and then train, just hire from those with Unreal experience). Personally, racing games in Unreal have all had same issues regarding graphics and performance, in terms of anti-aliasing, and fps especially. Ego was butter smooth, and you could run it on a calculator and still get a decent visual result. That said, it looks like they've done very well with Unreal. Only the future will truly show if it was the right move.
They said it had to do with limitations of ego. It wasn't possible to put more than 200km of track inside ego. The new game has 600km of stages and 17 different locations. I'm a technical noob, so I have no idea if this is true, but this is what they said.

In the other games, tarmac/asphalt felt floaty however with Unreal the physics handle a lot better and you get a better feel for the road
Yes and no,can save on cost on short terms,but have a new engine made on house with people that does have proper training instead unreal engine could be a lot better ngl,and since EA have that kinda off money they could make a new engine to use on race games,wrc,need for speed,burnout,grid,but ea is too greedy for that type of approach

Patchnote reading. Use clock as reference how sharp the turning is. Followed by direction/ usually lef right, jump etc. Followed by distance. So a 3 left 200. Meaning in 200 meter you have to turn left about 90 degrees . The difference between 3 left and square left is a 3 left usually have longer 90 degrees turn. Where square left is an instant.
200 in "3 left 200" means that there is a 200 meter straight after the 3 left. How long until the 3 left would be specified at the end of the previous pacenote.

Yep. F1 2020 to 23 MyTeam Career mode has customize and car builds and engine builds.
Unreal Engine it’s a good way to go. They’re always improving the engine. You can do almost anything there, any type of graphic and content. It’s more about how EA and others companies will use it.

9:24 - TBF, roof scoops do serve a purpose in rally cars, as they suck in air to keep the mid- or rear-mounted engine cool. That's something that some other arcade racing gamers never (bother to) know about.
But seeing as none of the rally1 or rally2 cars are rear or mid engined, roof scoops are now used to channel air directly into the cockpit.

Yeah this game is lookin dope. I was gonna get it anyway because I've been copping WRC games since 5 I think it was. I wonder If EA is gonna make this a quality throwaway game like that Star Wars game or if they are going to riddle it with EAisms and microtransactions. WRC ultimate team and that. I might fork out for more some extra kit car customisations... maybe... Shouldnt have to though. Just sayin.

@@mintgoldheart6126 The Codemasters studios that make the F1 games and WRC are not the same... two different studios and sets of people... it's not the same people working simultaneously on both... which is why the F1 games are mediocre with just great racing AI while WRC will be a masterpiece because the people that make the WRC game is the same studio that has been making top tier quality Rally games since 1998 and Colin McRae Rally...

If you've played wrc before, people should know that wrc alone is not an easy game, not much like dirt. Wrc is in that category with F1, grand turismo, and nascar heat. Building your car in this game is gonna play a big factor. If you know rally well enough.
